Fingers the Fence (Read 6872 times)

	So I've been trying to find this little NPC for weeks now and just couldn't. There's not a lot of information about so I've decided to follow a tip and look him up near Shar Manor. I'd like to mention I was looking for him in Epic Wheloon Prison. I have fully revealed the map and I've done the entire chain. By using the secret tunnel I could basically teleport to the manor after entering the prison area. I've done this 60+ times and could find absolutely nothing. My question is: has anyone here ever seen this sneaky bastard and if so, when, where and how? I'm desperate for the Ragged Rags he sells! Thank you guys.

	I've seen him in 2 different locations. One west of the Mirror teleport and one south of that. Both were on epic iirc. The location closest to the teleport point is probably the more efficient one. I'm not entirely sure where the second one is anymore. Teleport to Oldstone Hall via the NPC. Turn around and open the gate. Jump on the building ahead and slightly to the left. To the south you will see the remains of a burnt down building with the north-western wall missing. Inside the remains of that building is one of the places he spawns. If you get tired of doing this, it may be more efficient to create a new character and mirror the starter rags.

First of all, thank you kindly for the reply. The advice about the new character is good, but one of the reasons I wanted the rags is their passive bonus. I know it's not much but still. I'm not sure I know what is the "Mirror teleport" though.

	What do Ragged Rags do btw? I know they are glamered but what do they really do for you? Is there a screenshot of them somewhere?

It looks the exact same way as a starter rags. And it does nothing. It's only the cosmetic armor for 20 astral shards (so imo better deal than wasting 250 tp on mirror). Also for the op, there is a thread with finger's locations somewhere on the motherboards.

	It's supposed to give +5 inherent fire resistance or something. I remember finding out about this item when someone in a pug I was in linked it to me and explain how he got it.

However the recipes from risia games (I think that is the event) work on it just on every other cosmetic armor. So you can put inherent fire or cold resist on it (max 10). Here are the original rags and then some examples with the winter recipe:

	fingers has at least 5 potential spawn locations. its plausible there are more. everytime i have encountered him, it was in epic wheloon. the resistances you mention are not original. they were added with "Midwinter Recipies" from the eveningstar games. http://ddowiki.com/page/Midwinter_Festival#Midwinter_Ice_Races it could take you hours, or it could take you 2 runs. consider using a mirror of glamering on starter rags. good luck

	I ran this a thousand times and never saw him.� Didn't even know he existed until a couple days ago.� Then he spawned twice in a row.� Dunno if they upped the rate or I was just oblivious, or terribly unlucky.� Pretty cool though.� Wish they'd do more random shit like that.
