We have already made changes to the Deathwyrm raid which has increased the user experience in that raid. Although that work has provided a better experience for many players running that content, we are still seeing evidence of server performance issues on certain server processes. As previously reported, we identified an issue with certain server instances not cleaning themselves up, and we are also seeing evidence of server side CPU spikes in our CPU usage logs. We are trying to determine the cause of these spikes. During these CPU spikes players on that server process will experience lag even though other players on the same shard might not see it because they are running content on a different process. I have all engineering resources working on it. "This week's patch will include diagnostic logging (my emphasis not theirs) to help determine the issue. I know these lag spikes are annoying and I do appreciate that players have been patient as we have been working to diagnose these issues. Sev~ " anyone else read this and have immediate conspiracy theory about extracurricular banking activities, or is my paranoia getting the better part of me?

	Paranoia. Fear not bro. They genuinely do need more data to diagnose lag. They might actually have a competent systems engineer involved who is trying to address the problem rather than "blame it on the players". Besides they fixed all the exploits so there is nothing else to be done on that front. They can now focus on lag and bug fixes. And there was much rejoicing.

That it looks like it is actually something to do with Canadian connections, something with bell(ISP your way?) that is one of the main sources of lag. So I guess we have found "the" Canadian curse word, LAG.

There are many smaller companies, but most of them use the infrastructure of those two. I wouldn't be at all surprised that either of them were throttling service (or whatever it is).
