I don't think he's any worse of a moderator than many others I've seen, and there's no guarantee a successor would be better.  You guys would fold in about ten minutes if you had to read through all those shitposts.   Grin  Think about it - there's nothing anywhere against posting all the drivel that LeslieWest, Hal, Fran!, Powskier spew forth on a daily basis...  You gotta read it and live with it.

My biggest problem with him is as the host of the weekly runthrough.  I love the idea, and it's fun watching other people play, especially if they're terrible, but it's obvious he just doesn't play enough.  He had no idea that favour/BB doesn't get reset on an epic reincarnation.  His toons are always awful.  And yesterday, running through the Stormhorns, he pulls the sword from Lines...  "Master's Riposte.  I'll take that... I'll take that.  Heck yeah!  I don't really have a longsword character on Argo, but I'm not gonna pass up an epic elite Master's Riposte."

Loots it.   Shocked  You can instantly spawn any object you want with a couple of clicks, and you're taking an EE sword for a toon you don't even have yet on a server you never play on?  That's douchey.

I agree. There are a couple of things he got right in my opinion which are:
  • Giving his twitch to several pileons from different servers so that there is diverse content to watch every day, even if it's always the same 1-150 people watching and the streamers all suck. He might want to consider contacting people from the most high-end guilds from each servers to get some decent broadcasting. I strongly believe that powergaming in DDO is straight dead, but I'm also pretty sure that the people who watch his stream do not know this.
    • The weekly Chronicle thing, it's a good way to let people know that there is at least some shit going in the "DDO community" during the week. Having participated in a ddo fansite, I know that many players read it given the amount of traffic we got the day we were featured in it.
