Doom is right.  That's a real shame.  Oh well, it gives me 2 feats back for my wolfie.

The nerf impacts orb pallies more than any other builds. So far that I would say orb pally is a lesser option when making a paladin. Strictly thf, vanguard, tempest, AA now.

Aye.
That's really disappointing.  Glad they're focussed on the big issues in game.....

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

have to test it first before abandoning ship.  The orb n the off-hand still has a few benefits, such as applying Armor Piercing to Celestia and Draconic Reinvigoration working on an off-hand orb.

DPS should only have dropped a little with the loss of 7% DS.

I used orbs for healing lore, draconic, and armor pierce. The real benefit was 30 prr and 22 dstrike. All gone. Also swf went from 100 to 50% stat mod to damage. I refuse to play the build any longer.

You did not get 22% DS using on orb yesterday, it was only 7%.

The 200% stat mod to 150% didn't affect DPS as much as I thought it would.

It still probably beats the shit out of TWfing.

that was before the mastery feat nerfs.

I'd rather tempest I think. AoE is better and doublestrikes are higher.

actually swf'ing with an orb in the off-hand is one of the dorkier meta-gaming things I've seen in-game, I kind of hope it goes the way of the dodo...

It needs to be nerfed more, only lost a little DPS (still more than TWFing) and a bunch of PRR though you still have enough with heavy armor.

Well, I made the changes and just went running around the orchard with GTHF, and can I just say that it is so much more powerful than anything else? Granted it was lots of fun and I will move most of my toons back to it now, but holy crap it just shits all over everything else now.

It was great to have plausible options for 9 months, but that is all over now if your serious about it.
