How exactly is that "smart"? Did the xbox really need another shitty MMO that badly?

What sad, pathetic, lonely person dreams of having an MMO on his console, anyway?

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

Do you honestly think they have the resources to port the game to another platform? Really?

LOL, I could just imagine DDO for Console on a widescreen HDTV - it would look ike Minecraft Grin

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

I run it into my projector sometimes.  110" screen.  It's not as horrible as you'd think.    Smiley

The only problem I have with large screens is reading the chat .  Whenever I've seen large screen MMOs it it's damn near impossible to read anything.

you only need 5 keys ( and a joystick ) to play NWO...

You need a heap of toolbars ( even if you max-optimize them you'll need at least 3 or 4 ) with 10 options to play DDO...

not the same world : NWO  with it's shiny sparkling trail is meant for dumb, DDO is meant for people with at least a working brain cell.

Well my 3 working ( when not drunk, sleepy, bored, .. <insert relevant condition here> ) brain cells can't remember more than 10 keys ( and the movement related ones )  put in a single row ( that's why I hate clicky Enhancements and Destiny stuff )... So I'm not playing in the same league...

I do most of my stuff through mouse... I need my fucking hotbars...

Xbox port for DDO was in the works years ago but I believe it got shot down due to issues with subscription type games on the live platform at the time.

I can handle about 20... 1-10, shift + 1-10, numpad, ctrl + numpad.

This is why I never play my wizard... damn robot needs like 40+ keys, AND I have to remember which hotkey does what useful thing when!

The trick is not to hotkey everything.
Put the frequently used items/actions/spells on a hotkey or button and leave the less used things on hot bars.

You don't need a lot of hotkeys - most spellcasters will have there 3-5 key spells and only the combat ones benefit from hotkeys. Non combat ones can be on hotbars - or even setup a buff macro.

Who cares about consoles at all?
Is there anything a console can do, and PC can't?

Sports games well.

Consoles will always be better at good sports games.

Consoles are almost literally PCs that have been locked down.

If you want you can use a controller with a PC and it's a console without any console exclusives, the only reason to have a console.
