There is nothing random about it.

Mention his name and "Pegging" or "Hipster Douche" and he's pretty reliable about showing up.

they will probably congratulate themselves on how long they "kept it going" never able to see that it could have easily managed to keep itself going for far longer if they had just meddled far less drastically and with some semblance of an actual gameplan.

Devs do not care what players want - they already have an agenda and give out token gestures so the paladins can feel worthy.

Legend claims that FoS can be summoned by saying "Ghostbane" five times while facing a mirror.

A fitting place to be with him. Spectrophilia is the only rational explanation for FoS's obsession with everyone having a Ghostbane, another Ghostbane and even more fucking Ghostbanes. Perhaps FoS received some surprise <3 as a child from a dirty old man who enticed him with Casper the Ghost cartoons & swag.

This would be cool if AC was worth anything.

I am running around at level 4 with 45 ac in elite WW (lvl 5) and still getting hit as much as on any normal build with standard AC

It doesn't really matter.  You gain between 15 and 21AC over and beyond the best at-level armor at level 4 (if you craft it to +2 with masterful).  If you factor in a shield it's a bit more (an extra 8AC)

This doesn't make a massive difference at that level, especially if you've got natural armor or protection bonuses already.  Factor in epic past lives, and it becomes even more marginal.

If you have an AC of 25 means you are only hit 29% of the time by an average CR4 monster.  This drops to 17% at 43AC with Planeforged plate.

Yes, you are being hit half as often, but out of 20 hits, You are only being hit two or three times less for all that AC, because you are being missed most of the time anyway.

If you add in past lives and protection/natural armor bonuses, it goes from 49AC to 64AC (that's being hit 15% of the time versus 11%) - you'll barely notice the difference unless surrounded.

Still, it takes almost no effort (disjuncting and crafting it once), so I still do it.

true a 12% miss chance isn't that noticeable in low level heroic.  anything over 35 AC and I am almost never hit in heroics until level 5.  so I do it too.  not like it took a whole lot of effort.

it's still the best AC until around level 14 or so?
