you also included race, level, gear, tomes, and ship buffs. . .I said Barbarian enhancements. plus being a half orc is sub optimal these days, human and dwarf are top barbs because you get like no enhancement points to spend in racial on the best barb builds, with human you can at least grab damage boost to double boost and even more hjeal amp. and obviously the dwarf / occult synergy need not be explained.
and yes heavy armor far and away beats what little dodge you could get, and you can still use blur, displace, incorp, while in heavy armor.
btw the strength you did list from actual barbarian enhancements was 6, 2 from each tree and cap. so 4 less if your a ravager / berserker.
now how much extra melee power do you get under new enhancements? and extra hp? and extra heal amp? and now pain touch and vicious damage scales with melee power as well as does not do damage to self, then there's eye of the storm.
barbarians do more damage now with an unnoticeable loss in str then they used too, and got a shit ton of survivability to boot. they are better, learn to play
