	eh, I do agree that DC casting is rough though, it is a balance nightmare by design though, easy to hit DC's your god, cant hit DC and your shit. they way DDO is going i would not mind it if the DC's system changed to something like the post Motu to hit changes or PRR/MRR where ever point does increase your chance to land a spell but there is no hardcap pass/fail number. makes DC casting a little more easy to be effective, but avoid that god hood that comes with no fail saves.

Or you have the same randomness that melee has and use the D20 system. Each check requires a D20 roll and your base score plus D20 result just helps you to get over a hurdle DC. Unlike the current system, it is no longer binary. And I don't think DC's are as badly distorted as attribute checks where the range of values is too large for even the D20 system to work now. Major system change = unlikely to happen.

I agree, but only ones that can be clearly distinguished and enunciated on a resume. Playing around with spell DC's doesn't sound very glamorous, as compared to revamped combat defense system etc.
