Enough Greensteel to last a(several) lifetime(s)

So my conversation about yellow dopants got me thinking, and since I'm already on a flower-sniffing life anyway, I'm trying to put together a list of every greensteel item a character should have for the long road to completionist.

I have, so-far:

Weapons -

-Mineral II Greataxe
-Lightning II Greatsword
Lightning II Longbow
-Triple Positive Bastard Sword
-Triple Positive Khopesh
-Lightning II Khopesh
-Mineral II Repeating Heavy Crossbow
-Radiance II Repeating Heavy Crossbow

Gear -

-Mineral II Helm
-"Resistance-Salad" necklace
-Concordant Opposition Belt
-Concordant Opposition Cloak
(I have a belt and a cloak not because they stack but because I need to slot the same thing in multiple places, never where them both at the same time)

There are one or two other bits and pieces(my first greensteel was a Steam II repeater... I also made a triple pos light repeater for... I don't know why, but its in the cache).

Anyway, I am trying to put together a list of must-haves to cover most use-case scenarios(since a finished green steel consumes less inventory space than 4 shards Tongue)

I'm not talking about highly specific build-style bits, here, but more general "this is something you should just have"-type equipment. Like the MinII greataxe: just a generally really great, general-purpose axe.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

I use the min 2 helm for HP and the conc for MP. The helm I don't take off till 25, the cloak is basically irreplaceable(conc + many sps + cha skills + int skills + so much more) and I will wear clear through to TR.

I've thought about doing a skell beater, but the DR vs. slashing really isn't that high. Its only, what, like 10?

Maybe I will do a war hammer anyway. I never use them but the raise dead clicky is always a nice safety net. There's nothing quite like that moment where the cleric dies and everyone freaks out, and then you get to say "WAIT! I have clicky!!!"

I have 2 blurry hp items on my monk, belt and boots in addition to minIi helm, some gear setups mean its easier to slot heavy fort than get blurry.
also have a set of balence of land and sky goggles for a swap in reflex item.

Some are insane, and the're in charge.

On my main I've had the same lazy co-op HP cloak and tri-air SP googles for years, it is all I have needed.
In fact even at 28 I am still wearing them because i'm still grinding for something better.

Cloak seems to be the one spot most available. Devs just haven't made a worthy cloak in ages. All other spots are potentially sacrificing very good end-game gear.

Partial to the negative belt, especially for heroic levels.

If you can roll it you can smoke it.  If you can carve it you can smoke with it.

Wolf cloak. On every single "dps" toon.
I have had mineral hp belt on my "primary" melee gimp for years ( since Junts' pally writeups lol ).
Con opp on cloak but don't really wear it, you have what, 65 ac in Sands these days, plus million displaces, you just don't get hit in heroics.
I replace it at cap with Battleragers.
Lit khops, lit falchion, triple pos maul and warhammers.

I wouldn't do GS on helm ( Black ) or eyes ( Tharnes ).

After running a handful of House C challenges I am so done with that crap. I ran just enough to get each of the base items(that could be transmuted) and that was it. Challenges are so shitty, unless duping comes back there is no way in hell I'm grinding out that challenge gear!

(Please note: "rancid dog turd" and "difficult" are not the same thing.)

It doesn't "drop" its Evening Star challenge gear, meaning you have to run shitty challenges and grind annoying ingredients to get it. Basically the same as Cannith Challenge gear. Though if you already HAVE many stacks...

I must have stopped caring before they fixed it? I remember an option to upgrade, but no option to buy. That, or I have completely fabricated those memories. You'd think it would stick out more clearly from that time the vendor was so generous....

If I were going to do a rogue life I'd do 6 artificer/6 ranger/8 rogue and just use my Radii repeater. Maybe not even bother with the ranger levels and do like 6/14, either way I'd be repeatering instead of stabbing Tongue

You "buy" the level 16 version and then upgrade it. So you have to talk to all 3 traders to get a level 24 one.

Maybe I'm lazy at crafting, but I have 2 completionists, 1 has a min 2 weapon, a 3x positive weapon, a 3x neg accessory, and a con opp accessory. The other one just has a con opp accessory and a min 2 accessory.

Of course, all of these were a lot bigger deal back in the day. I can't even be bothered to farm out the shards nowadays.
