	I know servers go down from time to time, but this spate of outages on G-land is puzzling. They did a fix, but it doesn't appear to have made any difference. It's only affecting one server, so what's the most likely cause - flaky hardware? Surely they would have a run a full server diagnostic when they had the shut the other day?

G-land ain't anything special, but lag is infinitely harder to diagnose than the server crashes. There should be log files, external diagnostics on hardware performance etc. I'm surprised this has been going on for so long. Turdbine don't maintain the datacentre - so I'm surprised it hasn't been found and fixed. Unless one of you greedy bastards is crashing the server with your evil duping your entire TR cache at once? As unlikely as it may sound, maybe we just have two parties playing TOEE at the same time.......

	Well, technically... If you open the page to read, while someone else is typing and post, you won't see their response until you reload the page. Or at least most forums don't auto load when someone posts. Other pages that require ppl to have the latest info may be set up to reload on a certain interval, or like, when someone posts. Of course, I'd never make it a page reload then, just a widget reload.. prolly with ajax. Then again, that's easy to check. I got off track. As you were.

	Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

	two obvious lead : - Hardware issue ( only applicable if the servers are not virtualized on a hardware cluster ) - somebody is being naughty after having found a way to crash the server.

	How about turbine running some new script on G-Land as a test that crashes the server. They don't care about the customers and keep running it.

	G-land has bad intermittent lag again. Usually a pre-cursor to another crash. Don't start anything important.
