It's not easy to explain when people only see the worst possible reason and won't accept any other to be valid you know.
But I'll give it one more try anyway:
I know perfectly well HOW to kill said Fire Ele - I've run said quest at least once on over 50 Characters! {And a good half of those have been E-BB runs!}.
But when I'm on a 1st Life Lvl 7 Fire Sorc or 1st Life Lvl 5 Rogue/2 Fighter wielding a Quarterstaff that's probably close to broken already and said Fire Ele has dr/- well I'm not going to bother wasting time at the AH trying to find a Decent Beater OR skip taking Firewall in favour of Acid Rain OR take 30 mins looking for a group for said ONE SINGLE Quest!
No - I'm just gonna skip it as it's worth maybe 4k xp even with BB and Favour run it later!
The reasons why I say it's not a Lvl 5 quest are:
1) It's at least equal in Challenge factor to Forgotten Caverns or Haunted Halls {Both of which are Base Lvl 6!} and along with Chamber of Insanity should be pushed up to Lvl 6 so as to streamline getting groups while levelling for newbies.
and
2) It's a relic of the P2P original DDO that's heavily aimed at a Full Group {Soloing is most certainly possible even for the likes of me EVEN AT BB LVL! But it's still a group oriented quest!}.
There are so many Lvl 5 quests that even on a 3rd Life + Character skipping Carnival completely there's a good chance I'll be Hard Capped 8 Before finishing them!
So it's a choice of which one to leave for last - Lair of Summoning/Chamber of Insanity and Mystery of Delera's are 90% of the time going to be left for last by me {and skipped till later if I won't be able to get XP from them through being Hard Capped!}.
