+multiplier favors rapier, scimitar, kukri, etc.

Light picks for dex build since they work with weapon finesse.  Heavy if you're str based (or INT?).

Yup. Daggers and kukris will still be the way to go with Lethality. 15-20 x 4 and 13-20 x 4 (DC) obviously beats 19-20 x 5 and 17-20 x 5 (DC). It's really not even close.

Also, and I'm sorry for pointing out the obvious but there might be some confusion in the thread; One will not be able to Swashbuckle and take Lethality at the same time unless there are exploits in play that I am not privy to.

Wan't talking about the core for cores sake, it was how the Acro and Assassins fans were worried the others could use their abilities as well or better, and with just a few whiny jealous posts they pointed out what Severance-pay had missed and fucked themselves. Within a hour of them pointing out how well they could each exploit each others tree Sev posted the changes. So now they can't use Staff for leth, or one handers with cartwheel. Tinco and I (to a lesser degree) laid it out pretty clear in the official threads. You make the level 18 cores so that multiple ones are desirable, everyone takes 18 or 20 levels of Rogue plus there is really only one way to spend the AP. When I roll up a character, I select the "custom" option. Maybe not everyone is favor of that.

Do you think rolling up a Barbarian is fun? I have one. It's a fucking lobotomy on wheels. 20 levels of Barbarian. One way to spend the AP unless you are goofing off. Character creation is becoming a fucking snoozefest.
