	https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/459462-Update-25-Patch-2-Hotfix "We have been investigating reports of strange ladder and platform behavior since today's release of Update 25 Patch 2, and have identified the issue. We are working to get out a hotfix to address the problem, which appears to have been caused by a build issue. Stay tuned for more information about downtime, which could happen as soon as tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Additionally, we plan to bring Ghallanda down starting at 5:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on Wednesday (tomorrow) to conduct hardware maintenance work in an effort to resolve recent issues on the server. We have identified several quests and public areas that have been affected: Raids: Vault of Night 5 & 6 - The spawning ladder is not spawning in part 5, and there are missing "bases" on part 6. Part 5 can be worked around (mostly), but Part 6 is currently not able to be completed, so until this fix is in place we would recommend not running the Vault of Night raids. Quests: The Snitch - Missing ladder, can be overcome with a high enough jump score after using the valve. Miller's Debt - Missing ladders A Study In Sable - Missing ladder, cannot complete an optional objective Tomb of the Shadow Lord - Missing ladder Venn's Trail: Clan Tunnelworm (Waterworks part 3) - Missing ladder The Dreaming Dark - Missing building Public Areas: House Kundarak - Missing ladder Three Barrel Cove public area - Missing buildings Crystal Cove public area - Missing buildings Wilderness Zones: Tangleroot - Missing building"

The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics. Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed. The problem is that they can't really turn it off... It's probably a virtualized server on a blade cluster... shared with all the other servers... So they turn off the world, but the whole fucking cluster is still up, and unless they have a virtualizer that can affect hardware to specific virtual machines, hunting down an eventual hardware issue is pointless. ( on the other hand if they can affect hard to a specific virtual machine, and if they did tracking down faulty hard is easier ) To add insult to the injury... there's several kind of hosting operations... It ranges from you lease everything and don't care about the hard, the hosting company handle all the hassle and has a clause to keep it up to date with SLA for repair time, performances and so on to the basic : we rent you x square meters with y Amps in redundant, permanent power in a data room, you do as you wish in that space. If they chose the first one, PNAP is probably starting to cringe, as it's going to cost them some money in penalties. If they chose the second option... Well, it sucks for Turbine.
