well I was about to log back in, as I had finished ironing the shirts...

At least it should be back up for the Guild Raidathon.

Estimated maintenance time is one hour, so they can't do much.

The amount of time allocated to a task has NEVER been the resource that limits how much Turbine can or will do.

well I'm basing that on the fact that it takes more than 45 minutes for a simple server bounce.

So that doesn't leave much time to do hardware things.

Tough when you're in a LVL 147 active guild that survived the Codemaster's transfer from Europe...

Starting from scratch to rebuild the guild again...
( and this time without the help of the whole farm of Alts, as most of us have 20+ alts... not gonna pay 20$+ for each of my characters... If there's a transfer I need to transfer at least 6 or 7, not gonna happen... I'll prefer spending the money on something else. )

If you transfer out of this shithole, do they let you take your favor, bank tabs and all that youve bought on your main character?

If so, Ill blow 20 to get the hell out of this mess.

You can keep your stuff as long as you take it out of your TR cache/shared bank.

just what you have in your inventory and what is in your not shared bank... ( and in that some of the stuff will not be available until you have unlocked the tabs again )

you loose favor, bank tabs ( since they open wia kundarak favor ), completions counts, ....
Everything bought tied to the account ( char slot ) stay bought, everything bought tied to a server ( veteran I & II, shared bank, ....   ) will have to be bought again.

If they can not fix Ghallanda then a free and complete transfer of everything I have there to another server is the only thing I will accept. If we do not get that then its bye bye DDO after 9 years  Cry

This would certainly be the right thing to do, but the reality is they probably don't even have the technical capability to modify the transfer toons script anymore.  Their technical capability extends to pressing "go" on a script.

Trying to merge servers or move whole accounts/Guilds is probably too hard, so they'll just write off the Ghallanda population as acceptable losses for their incompetence.  They could do the guild's transfer manually of course, but they won't.

Or knowing the Turdbine ineptitude, they'll offer incentives like "Double challenge mats and Double guild renown" weekends for Ghallandans moving to a new server.....

If they can't fix G'land with their rubber mallet, it'll get closed with a "sorry, sucks to be you"

On the other hand, (if any could possibly believe Turbine being capable of clever trickery at this point) they could be setting the stage for a justification to merge servers without the self fulfilling DOOM!!!!1 prophecy that would normally go along with it.

Could be, but that would imply some type of plan or clue.
Some would go OTT about a merge, but meh, there's always someone unhappy.

If I thought they could manage a merge without completely screwing it up, I would welcome it at this point, but I don't.

You don't even have confidence in them to press "go" on the character transfer script a few thousand times?
