Honestly without munk there...

You guys prolly saw all the stuff from those forums, be honest and tell beside eth munk and sometimes cetus, who else actually gave any kind proper advice to devs on how to improve this almost dead game?

And they indeed listened to them carefully. Are you fucking blind or something? Severlin is just a big mouth who will always follow his original plan.

Also, only someone at Turbine and Munk would have access to his session ID.

I think we can pen this down to Munk and Strake slipping up.

How did Strak slip up? I'm sure all he did was publish what was sent to him.

It's too bad the edit button wasn't enabled on some pcpaladin's posts, most servers only keep their session ids for a short time so pointing the edit button finger at somebody who rants against The Vault could have been hilarious.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

For that reason, we don't know if they used it to verify their assumption.

You're right, they probably just based their decision off the visual of the Edit Post button showing up at the bottom of Munk's posts.

Yeah, I guess. A part of me kind of thinks that the journalistic protection of the sources comes into play and he has a bit of responsibility there. Then I remember that this is the Vault and I just sit back and enjoy the first real bit of drama we've seen in months.

It would have been funnier instead of throwing in the edit button in those pages, to have it on Cordovan instead. Probably could have actually accomplished more that way.

Aside from the ban issue....  I am finding it hard to understand why they even have a Player's Council.  All they are doing is what they used to do on the public forums, just with less people giving input.  They post what they want to do, people get all bent out of shape because their build will suck afterwards, they bitch, and ultimately Turbine does whatever they want to anyway.  What is the big mystery?

Yeah, after i read that lotro dev saying how turbine does this, that is the day I fully stop caring and having faith in Turbine.

Just think, if Turbine was/is framing Munk, what bug could have been fixed with the time spent editing those pages from the leak.

Well if you saw loot thread you would see that munk and crew helped the terrible loot to become less terrible and some of it actually good .
They also nerd raged about temple loot and we got at least set tnx to them so it has uses now on many builds.

But now we will be stuck with people who say stuff like, i had a hard time at work today, just checked proposal you guys gave and it looks great, keep up the good work.

Most people left are like that.
No real benefit as they have no proper idea how this game works from  feedback they give.

What am I missing, where is it grabbing information from the official forums? There is a link to the official forums yes, but there is also the class 'offline' and title "Munkenmo is offline"

So basically you see who is online on the official website at the time you open the page in Vaultleaks.

( yeah I know I keep saying I sucks at coding... It just means that I suck at pissing code, not that I can't read and understand it )

You've been in management too long.

The image comes straight from DDO, but the online status does not. That's hardcoded in the html. If you'd like me to prove it, pick a thread and user and I'll switch their status for you.

Here's the other part that is missing from Thaz's post (it shows up a bit below that section):

Code (HTML)
Select All
<img title="Munkenmo is offline" class="inlineimg onlinestatus" src="images/statusicon/user-offline.png" alt="Munkenmo is offline" border="0">

It's fake.
It's from the TV show Louie.
SS looks real because the set, graphics and host are all real and participated with the show.

Nice that they had the sense of humor to play along with the gag! I may have to check out that show now, or at least that segment.

I've been taking a closer look at the leaked PC forums since some people have been saying that the offline/online button is in fact not live, and came up with these conclusions:

1) Across every thread leaked, a total of 53/60 PC members and 4 Turbine employees posted at least once.
2) Unless the offline/online status was modified for certain users, if a user shows up as offline in a particular thread page, that user can't be the leaker.
3) The edit button does NOT appear on all of Munk's posts,  some of his comments do not have an edit option. Example: http://www.ddovault.com/Vault/Player's%20Council%20-%20Warlock%20Enhancement%20-...
4) Solely judging from 2 , Munk can't be the leaker. And looking at 3, well, it's pretty sketchy.

Now, after checking every thread, there are only two people who were online in every single thread page, one of which is Cordo. There were also 7 PC members that never posted in any of the leaked threads so we can't really tell if they were online or not. This leads to a maximum of 9 possible matches of who the leaker is, and if nothing in those pages was individually modified, the leaker can't be Munk.

EDIT: I'm not posting the names of the PC members who matched because I don't care about incriminating PCTransparencyWhateverHisNameWas, I am posting Cordo's name for the sake of drama and conspiracy.

Stop doing Turbine work for them, I personally want to see a lot more released. They know it's not munk, but they need a fall person to explain why a public member on the vault was accepted to there puppet council.
