That's pretty cold Drop, I have ... feelings.. of a sort. I'm fairly sure I can be moved to tears, the end of LoTR gets me every time.

BTW, that wasn't reading in the shower...

I assume you mean the Louvre in Paris and not those on my Mum's front windows.
Tbh, I think I've learned more here than I would at the Louvre.
If I hadn't found the Vault, I wouldn't have learned about Beef Curtains, Soggy Biscuit, Queefing, Snerd Nurgling and Felching among so many other jewels.  My exposure to the modern vernacular has been expanded, which I think has been a good thing.
I do find it hard to use these in day to day conversation, but I continue to try.     Shocked

And without the Vault we would never have been witness to the unrequited love of Hag and Thaz blossom.    Grin

The Louvre may have some old paintings, but this here is a repository of knowledge, imagery and modern culture.....    Roll Eyes

We need that to be verified by third party...
Oh wait. Nvm.

Can I just recommend to you a little indie site called 4Chan?

"Why is this taking so long? <sniff> They resolved the plot already, why isn't it over? <sniffle>  I'VE BEEN HERE FOR LIKE EIGHT HOURS, LET ME GO HOME ALREADY! <WAAAAAAAAAAH>"

Yeah, it got me too, man.

I'll have you know that a lot of those old paintings are nudes!

And so are the statues!

---------

Story: I went to the Musee d'Orsay (which is near the Louvre, but a lot smaller) and they had a painting on display that was an attempt to produce the most realistic close up of a vagina possible - about what you see when you go down on someone with the lights on or what panties see on a daily basis. They placed it on a support pillar so that you'd walk by, then notice and turn around to look.

The most fun I had was watching Asians walk by, look, then blush or hide their face with embarrassment.
