I would be happen with a decent menu system for designing items. put in the item you want to craft and it gives you a selection of prefix's and suffix's. that work!

Right now you can put an item in.. Get a list of recipes.. Go craft the shard. put shard and item back in and get the no recipe found message. ... WTF... Take the shard out and get the recipe for the shard you just created  WTF!!!!

Whole process is a buggy piece of crap. Good for making some items once you do trial and error so you know it will work.

Make skill books able to be crushed like stat books. Trying to get enough tomes to get to 150 without a good stash of purified is a pain in the ass.

As usual you have a good concept with no follow through on making it a working one. Release it then forget about it

Has everything you need.

Should have leveled it a crude vial ago.

I find it extremely useful for Heroics.  So easy to gear and slot whatever you need/want around whatever GS and named/raid items you may use.

Just made a Deathblock of 15% Kinetic Lore Trinket for my Warlock (lvl 17atm) to pair with his ML 13 Rock Boots for acid, a ML 14 Light Hammer w/ Radiance 78 of Radiance Lore 14% With Impulse 78 slotted in Red slot and a Potency 56 (not bad for rando colours procs but w/e) of Spellsight +11 in my off hand.  To maximise SP for EB.

I really wish they added the ability to craft augments...that would be effing rad.

With augments and hard cap of 20 some of the stuff can be great into epics especially for ETRs.

ML20 Deathblock ring of Heavy Fort with a Green Slot (PRR, Resistance, GFL)
or
Colorless + Yellow (Off stat +6, + 1 Exc Stat, Spellcraft, Heal, Repair....)+(Stacking +2 Spell Focus is nice here)

But w/e, YMMV

I've always felt cannith crafting and the abortion that was made of it was one of the biggest missed opportunities that turbine ever made, and I know it has some mahoosive competion in a veritable litany of contenders for that title.

I like the +x stats when used in tandem with the Masterful Crafting shards. +5 stats at level 7/+6 at level 9 etc make for good twink items. Beyond that though I don't really find any use for the crafting system and I feel like it could've been made into a lot more.

Deadly would be great.

Kind of annoying how Cordo says "We're going to expand it" but says nothing whatsoever on what they're going to be doing... new shards? new level cap? easier interface? Any elaboration beyond "oh it's going to be a thing?" I guess I shouldn't expect more though, considering they have a habit of doing this.

Given enough time Turdbine can let down the lowest expectation the average vaulty can have.

no, no its not.. get about 10 levels per TR, because the penalty for crafting things magically pewfs upon tr.. not at all hard to hit 150

Don't forget - new mats too.   Undecided
New system will mean new mats, because..... well because Turdbine.
The fanbois will claim it is because of the all evil cheaters from the Vault duping and ruining the game.
Someone will need to come up with a new theme as they've used mushrooms.
Maybe it will be toadstools next?

Why should they screw that up sp much?
They have a basic system that works. They just have to expand the recipes. And that can't be so hard even if it is a big playground for screwing up ...

What do you have to smoke that the trainwreck that is "Canith Crafting" is up on anyone’s "to do next" list?

Wouldn't it be 10.000 % more rewarding for everybody involved to bring back decent random loot and end rewards and not get that "kick in the gut feeling" with nearly every quest turn in? The only thing I use Canith crafting for are plain "+X to stat" and "+YY to skill" items anyway. They should just make those drops again. Together with all the affixes that made it fun looking into the weapon pawns or taking the time for a fucking look onto the reward options.

  

You can't win the Vault, you can only make a fool of yourself and be added to my ignore script. Hi Welcome
