Nowadays the only thing I miss and that could make me log again is duppapallooza

i mostly miss all my old in game friends who have moved on. this game would be just as fun if i still had all the knuckleheads around to play with.

i remember when the level cap was 14 solo'ing, duo'ing and trio'ing titan and demon queen with two buddies who haven't played in years. Back then the fewer people you could complete a raid with the better because you only got two stones to loot the raid chest with. 

My kiting Ranger/Pally running backwards around edge of the Queens pedestal, Manyshot, drinking cure serious pots, drinking haste pots, getting crippled...This was before they put a door down below so you couldn't fall off and complete. Absolute sweat balls pouring mayhem for 15 minutes. The game was definitely a little harder back then, but in some ways more straightforward.

I used to love running Titan, trying forever to get a chatterng ring, which I finally did after like 2 years.

I remember the day Zawabi's dropped, our guild on Khyber ran it and we managed to bug her off the edge, and back then there was no lava down below her pedestal. We just kited her and I was the last one alive and killed her with a returning throwing axe, If I'm not mistaken (I think I was on a pure Pally at the time).

Crazy times, super fun.

I love that you guys jumped on this.

I miss the Shroud lfms "because we like it hard".  I miss working together as a group where you had a trapper, a healer, a tank.. etc. I miss healing in raids when healing still was needed.

I get random invites when I'm on a lvl 7 bank toon, lol.

When it comes to healing, I sometimes put someone on tank healing in EE.. but then it's either cause the tank is not a very good tank (I run with what I get), or cause the person doesn't have any dps (or is too squishy), so I tell them to heal and raise to be semi-useful at least.

Id like to add a few more things.

Running the Giant caves and pulling a peral of power X when CAP was 10. Some guy in the quest offered me 100k gold, and I was like "SOLD!" cuz I only had around 8k plat and had only been playing a couple of months.

When Gawna and her hubby Shizer would start voice sexing over the mic in a raid with a bunch of puggers, making a very awesome "awkward" for the the pugs.

When I couldnt wait to get home from work to play, then play till 3am and wake up at 6, rinse repeat. (Now, if im bored and have some downtime i will run a quest or two - cleaning dishes sounds more productive now)

When they introduced Devils to the market place and watching the whole market place blow up! (then switch instances to watch it again!)

All my guildies that like shortmanning and decent challenge have long since abandoned ship for other MMOs unfortunately. I would join a new guild, but look how many replies here are about playing with crew you know...

Ah I also miss the EU GMs bending the rules and spawning Velah et al all over the map for laughs.

There was a decent end game and decent population when the cap was 20. Shroud would fill in minutes but then you had a good chance to pug a chrono/tod/vod/von and the occasional lob.

The content in eveningstar seems more straight line hack and slash, doesnt have the finese in design that the earlier quests had. There was a glimmer of something special when the Lordsmarch quests came out, those were fun. Those were the last fun "new" quests for me.

I miss the level cap being 20, except--
a) waiting 30 minutes for a healer to join
b) the xp grind from 15 to 20
c) blind tells from 12 years old every 10 minutes to join their group

I'm alone on this, but I prefer the 6/12/18 split for multiclassing and the non-standard enhancement levels.

Recently, the lack of duping has killed the game for me. The game has become too much grind over the past few years, so the dupe fix really killed the game for me.
