Yes.  The level 11, 15 and Epic versions are damn good at the levels you get them.  Same applies to the Rock Boots with the GOO pact.

Great Old One.  Adds Acid damage to the blast.  Rock Boots add “As good as you can get for the level” corrosion/acid lore, some good trash mob guards and slippery surface immunity.
