The honeymoon is already over.

They moved a decimal in front of the drop rate % chance.

Phew, that was close. I had almost talked myself into buying it, but now I can safely wait for 75% off. Or never.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

40+ for some people that ran through it on normal. If there is a duping bug then there is a working passing bug.

TF mat drop rates are garbage. If youre doing normal you will not get 30 phlogs off 20 runs. 8 lootings before ransack might get you 4 phlogs if youre lucky. Two weeks and 20th reward might get you 20 phlogs. Probably wont get you enough Ingots either. That raid's drop rates are what killed it.

Can I play it on hard or elite? Sure. But... My server fails normal raid runs of MoD, and DoJ. People die in hard ToDW/Fire Peak. Getting people together to do elite requires a lot of effort to get enough capable people in the same place at once.

EE runs of ToDW, FoTP, and MoD are really really fucking rare for all the reasons you mentioned.

It's a shame.  I love EE runs.

What server are you on Rubbinns?

Your suggestion of BTA TF mats would be amazing. It would reward people for taking the time to roll, level and gear their alts. Shame turbine is so fucking dumb. I get angry just thinking about it.

The new raid is so dull. Turbine actually made an objective of running to a gate through a small square room of blades. A gate. In a small room. They should have just made ToD epic and it would have blown this shitty raid out the water in terms of fun, roles, phases, loot, mobs. They couldnt even name their red names. They stopped doing that since wyrm raid. Non-named red names that aren't bosses, but are bosses... what? really?

I was just in two EN runs of DoJ today.  The first had two drops.  The greaves and the longsword.  The second had none.  It is dropping, but the percentage is crap.

ToD was a high point for raids in a lot of ways.  (Although I really enjoyed LoB too, when it first came out).  They kind of gave up on just epicing the old raid with FoT and MoD, but that was totally cool with me because Reavers and Abbott weren't the best raids to begin with.  I'd have rather they just Epic'd ToD (from a content perspective.  I'm not sure I want a return of ToD ring/neck/belt sets).

I'm OK with the middle part of the raid, but the end wyrm and demon girl are just way too easy.  I think the Pit Fiends we face in part 2 have more HP.  I'm not sure why the raid boss is so wimpy.

That's because all those EE-capable players moved to Thelanis.

Like the guys in Legit? Please. Some of those guys would proc joy, scream out "I got godmode" over voice and then die from the aggro. Or pop manyshot and try to stand still in front of Tor giants and die with manyshot timer still running.

Yeah, those were your above-average players. Says a lot about who is left on Orien, no?

Wow, really? The guy's a legend.

There's a thread or two on the DDO Forums dedicated just to him where people substituted his name for Chuck Norris' name in jokes paying tribute to how good Oddlived was at DDO.

Can't remember the guy's guild name at the moment...

Must be before I started playing. Will be 3 years this November. There's still some very good players left, but majority, i feel, is retarded. Like, Barbarians, Paladins, and Rogues in Unyielding Sentinel. Or Clerics still stuck in pre-MotU thinking they're healers and fucking cocooning my robot in Epic Normal DoJ.

Those are "Sexual Healing" builds. That's just as close as they can get to spooning him.

LMAO, well I'll really keep my eye on that guy who kept cocooning my Halfling Rogue before she disabled each control panel.
