Hopefully someone has tested this before me,  does mortal fear proc for thrown weapons if it is on a off hand weapon?

My plan is to combine the new Sovereign vorpal shuriken with a mortal fear off hand weapon.  I pulled on last night and would like to make it work.

(As a set with the armor of course)

No, mortal fear does not proc from off-hand weapons when throwing.

It's a fair question, and could have been a interesting combo if it had worked for you.

So to be sure I hopped and double checked that U27 hadn't brought a unexpected change.

I have a full list of known and unknown off hand procs, firing rates, and active current features of thrown weapons. PM me if you would like to get access.

I read your question, and I answered usefully since you were too dumb to ask the right question: "if mortal fear procced off hand, would the new shuriken still be a piece of shit". The answer to that question is yes, so the answer to Mortal Fear proccing offhand is meaningless.

The shuriken is indisputably awful. My answer to him was direct, and accurate. He should not use the shuriken in any case. His response to that answer was aggressive. W/E

The plain fact is that I had not personally tested Mortal Fear since around u25. Simply writing no would have put me in a position to possibly misguide you. But since I do happen to know that categorically that shuriken is fucking vendor trash garbage, I went ahead and tried to give you a more useful answer than the question you asked. Which is, even if Mortal Fear has changed and does work offhand, it won't matter you'll still be a gimp with that shuriken.

But next time, maybe I should just go with "you're a dumb cunt"
