Has anyone else noticed what Monster Manual 5 contains?

I'm working off wiki here.....

Most are rather innocuous, but a few caught my eye as odd:
1. Warforged Titan - WTF?
2. Succubus?  How many are there in the game?
3. Lich?  Again - how many?

Wiki lists 600-800 needed for Titans and 1200-1500 for Succubus and Lich?  Really?  Talk about grind?  Whoever makes up these numbers doesn't actually play the game.
I would have thought MM5 would maybe relate to U27 and thus drive some replay value of it?  How are Lich and Titans related to the current content of U27?
Seriously - who's going to go and kill 800 Warforged Titans on their account?

I'm really surprised by this.  I don't go out of my way for the MM, but I think it is a nice little distraction for some players (like crafting).  Turdbine just continue to lower the bar of expectation.    Sad

Loved the MM but there's a trend here.  That trend being - as little fucking effort as possible to throw something together to make money off of.  The last one they made, before discontinuing it for the next year or two, sucked ass.  They skip over the list that would be fun and pretty much find the monster classes that have jack shit in them because that's way easier to program.

Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.  Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.  Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

Yes, they seem to like to select stuff that has very few things for them to find.
I know they don't have attributes on monsters so that they can be easily referenced, so they all need to be individually flagged.  This means work, and it is pretty obvious they are allergic to work.
Tis a shame, as the MM's could be "fun" rather than stupid grindy BS.
The rewards are small, so why make the numbers so absurd?

If you meant whether it's "retroactive" or not, my guess would be no.

I like the monster manual when it gives me XP.  And it's kinda nice to know the HP of some mobs.  But, I don't really go out of my way to complete it or anything.  I like that it is there, but I'm a VIP, so I get it as part of the package.

ftfy.

I like the monster manuals. I don't know why. I just enjoy them. I like the unexpected xp after a heroic tr, I like being able to see hit points, and I like the pets.

I spent a lot of time getting the super rare named mobs to spawn for my manual. Ask Mo. I made him help me find that goddamned scorpion in Diplomatic Impunity.

This subject really reminds me why I grew to hate Turbine.  The Monster Manual is a prime example of a great idea implemented by people who have never played the game.

'You know that monster type you kill like three of every life?  Well, you have to kill...um...a hundred million billion of them to get the top prize - one whole AS.'

'Are you fucking joking?  That's fucking retarded.  It would take even the hardest zerger years to do that.'

'I see your point.'

'Are you going to fix it?'

'Are you fucking joking?  Come on, that would take effort...plus we already have your money.  But we will keep that in mind in future installments.'

Three months later.

'You know that really common monster that you kill like a bizillion of every life?  If you kill 500 of them, you win the top prize.'

'That's...really anti-climatic.'

Classic Turbine - bad mistakes replaced with worst solutions.

The most broken epic PL in the game is the ridiculous AC buff from martial PLs. But when you include all the inherent benefits from reincarnation, the thing is above the roof. The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

Wow.

Have you EVER gone to Law School Feyn? Have you EVER been asked by a United States Senator who is now the Vice President of the United States to write a paper just for him on a particular topic of Constitutional Law for his use as a Senator? Have you ever been asked to help a very notable Harvard PhD turned Constitutional scholar with his very-well received book on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Revolutions? Have you ever been offered a job as a Deputy Attorney General BEFORE you even graduated Law School?

No? Then STFU you fucking amateur.
