I agree that GXB get some nice bennies...  I just can't find where they get +20 sneak attack dice over repeaters.  I did find the +2 over repeaters from Sniper, but that's it.  I have a guildy that's consistently reporting 60pt differences in his SA damage over mine and I'm trying to track it down and see if this is the answer.  Our ranged power is only 9 different so I know that's only a tiny bit of it.

The optimal Mech strategy would be to go in with gxbow and then swap to repeater for the TO.

The best thing about gxbow is the extra 20d6 (especially in LD), but TO is immune to sneak attack IIRC.

Also, there is no gxbow that deals blunt damage to bypass TO's DR.

I think due to the extra 30% ranged alacrity GxB has over repeaters, the difference in RoF becomes closer to 2:1 as repeaters have that small down time when reloading a new clip that is noticeably longer that GxB. However you would need an actual frame by frame reference to compare.

Is there a difference between light and heavy repeater reload times? Can't see an advantage of light over heavy otherwise. Have not sat down to compare the two yet.

Light was few % of a second better than heavy when I tested. That was back when arti was released though.

All the tests were done on the same character with it's fletching deactivated, blinding speed running, rapid reload active, but no other class haste boost active, etc in effect.

I tested and confirmed these numbers this week, so for the next four hours they should be solid reference points for the discussion here.
