It's awesome they fixed the description of the Eternal Flask of Haste.  It was simply making the game unplayable.

I see 'fixed lag' is conspicuously absent.  shocker.

◾ Abishai Executioners will now stick closer to the Fallen Archons.

Gay and retarded change.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

I don't know.  Maybe.  Maybe not.  The raid could use something.  The whole "1 person pulls everything to the group while the group does the ball method from DQ while using a rock to hold down the attack button and afk'ing" was kinda boring.  I think Shamgar mentioned on DDOCast that he was folding laundry while running the raid it was that boring.

I'm not sure this is that something (personally I think the end boss is the problem) but Im willing to give it a go.

The truth is that raid is a garbage. They are not fixing but just making it more shitty.

And they are ok but not a must to have.

The raid isn't that bad.  I don't mind it.  It's not good, but it's not CiTW level awful.  The loot makes it worth running for me.

If the laser eye beams of SP and Mnemonic potion death coupled with the belly punching below oversized and disproportionate boobs was removed, CitW is an ok raid for me. Still enjoy running it from time to time besides the above part.

Defiler on the other hand seems to be one of those raids where once you get the gear, you'll never run it again except for favour during TRs (if you are that bored).

IMO CiTW is far better than DoJ. Annoying as it may be citw has a certain ritm where you never find yourself without anything to do. You have a purpose and have to see it to the end. Still a shitty raid but better than DoJ.

I have only 7 completions so far but more often than not there is a whole minute spent circling the bloody arena doing nothing waiting for something to happen. It's made to waste clickies and boosters duration since some fights can last 5 seconds (no joking). The story is bad, the game design is BAD, the raid is REALLY BAD. The only good thing I can think of the new pack is the price: you can't expect much from a raid coming in a 495 TP pack.
Im still disappointed tough  Tongue

If you enjoy the view and that gets you off then by all means keep going back for more. Whatever floats your boat. Nobody will judge you on your preference... ok actually a lot of people will. This is the internet after all but if you are relying on Turdbines design for your favourite porn channel then I believe you are, just plain out, doing it wrong.

The problem with lolth isn't the size of her rack.  It's that she is basically Velah all over again.  I forgive Turbine for Velah because it was the first raid and they hadn't worked some things out yet.  But to be 6 years into the game and tons of mobile raid bosses and you go back to the huge, immobile sack of HP?  That's weak.  Lolth should have been the size of the stormreaver combined with some special attacks (ala the Lord of Blades) and been highly mobile.  That's a fun raid boss.

A raid boss that doesn't move and barely attacks is lame.

Lob is still the best boss fight in the game. Sad the loot is outdated and  sucks to get in the raid.

Fighting Loth's sister was more entertaining.  At least she moved around and made people fall over for some fun spear raping.  Come to think of it, we should tell Lolth that her sister was better.  Maybe she'll start to move more.

This is very true.  They need a Thunderholme style teleporter for those two raids.  Wouldn't be bad to do the same for VoD/Hound and for DQ1.  Making raids easier to run makes sense.  Especially the heroic ones.  I know LoB has an epic version, but it doesn't offer anything new, so it's basically just a heroic raid with 6 difficulty settings.  If they had a 4th tier that made the items ML 21 or ML 22 and gave them more power, that would be interesting as a low epics gear option that bridges GS and TF.

EDIT:  After I wrote this I asked myself it made any sense.  Would people actually run a raid at those level ranges to get low epics gear?  My answer:  No.  I wouldn't.  I don't raid while leveling.  It just doesn't make much sense to me.  I run Von5 for the XP when TR'ing, but that is probably the only raid I bother with.  Maybe that changes now that I can pause the BB, because running raids on elite at level is often pointless.  But I have tended to wait to level 26+ to do any meaningful raiding.  Even when the raid is a "lower level" raid.
