Seriously... how godamn hard is it to fix the fucking chain reward for the new content? Didn't they have this same glitch with Orchard and TOEE? Geebus man. It's like somebody on staff said "Wait... we need to rile them up a little so they won't take us for granted, reintroduce glitch number 42 for the new content."

Was hoping this last patch would have addressed the oversight.. apparently not so much.

Maybe they saw the quests are dick easy and short and thought they would attempt to not trivialize handing out all the new loot to everyone the first hour of release?

But hey, maybe it was just an oversight...but I sure as shit wouldn't complain about it.

So you're complaining you're getting heroic vendor trash instead of epic vendor trash as the chain reward. I mean it's something fun to complain about sure but that already happened day 1. It's over man forget about it.

I don't think that is the point.  I think the issue is that the end chain loot should match the quest level.  It's sloppy that it doesn't.  Not a major deal.  Unless they were giving away the named loot on 3rd run or something.  But it is a sign of sloppy coding that they are giving out level 13 loot on a level 30 chain reward.  And, *maybe* newer players, who weren't geared to the teeth, might appreciate the chance for something decent.

Going Live with it shows there was no walk through testing (shock I know).
But it is an error, it looks poor and leaving it unfixed is very indicative of their approach to their work.
It doesn't matter how hard it is, if you're going to sell product it should fracking work.
We're NOT talking rocket science here - it's procedural coding.  It takes patience and knowledge, but even an average coder should be able to work their way through debugging ..... if they wanted to of course, because Turdbine has no KPI to fix your own fuckups.

Consider the fact that "old chains" used to give some named loot as end reward if completed 3 times just like it happened in IQ chain. They didn't even bother adding the same thing so if you're after that piece of gear that keeps on non dropping you'd better choose an alternative.

Now they're too busy thinking of how to FUBAR update 28 with epic shroud to give a fail that little consideration to not making a fail so it becomes an even greater fail. They must be so proud of themselves right now

Well, I was out of idea as which language to select, Klingon seemed cryptic enough...

There's more people that speaks Elven ( Mostly Sindarin, but some do speak Quenya ) so I had to choose a language...
After that I would have had to revert to Basque or Finnish... and there's way more people speacking each than people speking Klingon or Elven.

They want to kill static loot rewards on 3rd or 20th... They want to kill it HARD. It got rebuked last year by the PC, and let say that some people were grumy at how vehemently it was rebuked. I'm certain they are going to try to sneak it at some point ( they might have done it already ) through the 2015 council because they were really really keen to have that change.

hell, I guess that would be last straw for quite lot of people.

I guess next step will be slot machines for AS next to each raid entrance, where jackpot will be random named from raid.
