Yep, unless they migrate the hardware which they're talking about too.
All those IC servers can be repurposed now.

Unfortunately, LOTRO will get the best hardware.
Best DDO can hope for is 2nd hand LOTRO servers.

I think that changing hardware is only part of the soln.
The game code is likely to be so inefficient as to cause most server hardware to grind unnecessarily.
And if the anecdotal evidence is even partly right, some of the problem lies in the Comms architecture, not just the hardware.
