	Cordoban: Quote: As players have noticed, tome benefits were not applying upon login after we opened the worlds this morning. We have now brought down the game worlds while we resolve this issue. We will be rolling back character data so that this bug does not have an impact on characters, and will be putting together a new build that we expect to be released later this afternoon. Characters will have their tome benefits back when they log in later today, and those who already updated their game clients will just need to patch to the new build. If we were to only roll back character data then reopen the worlds, players who had already updated their game clients would have had to re-download the game, which is why we are leaving the game down until we get our new build ready to deploy. We apologize for today's issues.

We saw for a few day a new dev appear, and communicate... he also appeared in IRC... since then he disappeared again... But it seems he is still around. And since there's that DDO movie being announced, WB is probably looking at the ugly black duckling called DDO that came along with LoTRO long ago with new eyes... Honestly, with that new development ( the movie ) I'm wondering is Turbine is not doing some serious clean up and some internal shuffling to get ready for a new reloanch of the game when the movie hits theaters... It would be stupid not to try it. ( even by Turbine's standard )

	Yeah my wife threw a fucking tantrum over this tome shit. So I get a double fucking whammy over it. Thankfully we have screen caps of all are ability tomes, not the fucking skill tomes but at least it is something.

If you did connect between the time it was up after the hotfux and then down to fux a bit more the hotfux... Jerry said that they were doing a rollback to before hotfux for the game data pause for the gasps of surprise at the fact that Turbine is trying to do a rollback So you should be safe too... except that you will have lost everything you did/won during the small uptime. Now I can't tell you how it could have afected me : - I was at work when the server were brought down for the hotfux, - I was at work when they were brought up after the hotfux - I was still at work when they brought the servers down again. So it's been almost 24 hours for me since the last time my game data moved... I hope they won't manage to fubar 20+ hours old data during their rollback. ( ok, I know it's Turbine, everything is possible, especially the worst ) Oh and just take your wife to a restaurant tonight...
