The cinnamon doesn't expressly state that it bypasses dodge cap, so we must assume it doesn't. For most people this would provide a few points of dodge if any. You also have to remember it's programmed by turbine, so if you find yourself with a dodge cap of 22 and are currently sitting at 20 dodge and have 2 ranks in listen, you might eat this and find you have just as much chance of coming out the other side with a dodge rate of 2 as you do 22. I think we should stop calling this 'New Mabar' at this point and call it 'Not Mabar' instead, because I'm pretty sure that's what we're getting.

	I liked Mabar, I don't buy tomes and was cool to see some people from the server you'd almost never see otherwise. Didn't like the leashing of mobs and lag obviously.

	The only saving grace that not mabar had to me was the prospect of farming old mabar items like the cloak of night without having to resort to abusing my sanity with mimics.� It's looking a lot like the old mabar stuff isn't going to be in night revels, and this leaves me with the terrifying conclusion that they're going to do more mimic hunts. I hated the mimic hunt.� A new mabar was supposed to stop this shit from happening.

The idea is probably throwing a bone to all 5 clerics and wizards on the server. But it's idiotic approach. Higher DCs makes even MORE older content trivial. Because Amrath with 90 fort saves - autosave for mobs, and Devil's Gambit with 50 totally makes sense.

Sorry there's something wrong in your statement... They definitely do not know this game. If they knew it they could fix obvious broken things. The most obvious reason is that they do not want to go back and fix old broken things in what has been termed as the Spaghetti Code. They only come near post Shadowfail Code ( and some post MoTU code ). And specifically, as an example, they are not going to come near the Loot Table and fix the Great Ghostbanning of Loot. ( the current alibi is that they can't roll it back, last year it was that they didn't have time or that loot tables were so broken that mucking into them was going to break something else ) I could also use the String Table Errors as an example.... Last year several PC members had a long talk about them with Steel and Varg...

	The augments are useful for a few characters, so i'll get some of those. Not going to mess with anything getting any items that expire or create a flaming sphere. It will be a limited run event for me. This feels like an event more aimed at the casual/less experienced player. If that's the case, I'm not surprised the Vault community isn't too excited. Most of the posters here are(or were) more advanced players than that. I like events, but this one doesn't really move the needle much.
