Mind numbing MM farm

Running RestStop on EH for first time bonus was working on conquest by letting the Umbral Rats at the end continuously spawn.  Then I saw the MM Shadow Exterminator 2 float by and decided to just keep going.

Probably 75 minutes killing rats, about 10 a minute.  Got the 250 rems, and half way to the 750 rems.

Thinking heroic elite might spawn quicker.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

Love,

People who don't know how to fix their own mistakes cleanly

Do they continue to spawn after killing boss? I've never stuck around long enough to see.

Set my 'lock to run in circles and go afk...

No, the boss has to be alive.  I just stood under the place where they dropped swinging my Mutineer's Blade.  Boss runs around casting crap at you, sometimes moving in close so AOE's will be a problem.

Did it again on Heroic Elite, was about 25 kills per minute.

Did the next 770 or so in 40 minutes.

That's good to know for the next time they have a remnant event weekend and bring the cloaks and bracers back.

So that is the Shadow MM farm tip then. OK thanks, usuable, don't think i've bothered with Shadow yet so i may do this. Too bad you can't warlock aura pike for it though.

I tried the Wraith farming in Necro 3 some time ago but they don't keep spawning unless you keep running around in circles and hope to re-trigger re-spawn points so that damn Wraith MM eludes me.
