Solution A: Tanks become a thing again. (lol)
Solution B: Lots of PRR, self heals, and res scrolls
Solution C: MOAR KITING
Solution D: Don't run Necro IV. New stuff will be better soon.
Solution E: Just wait. They'll break it or nerf it soon enough.
Least likely outcome: Solution A.
A isn't that uncommon. The rise of Pallys in DPS has created natural tanks. You can be a decent tank without having to sacrifice DPS.
B this isn't enough. When they are hitting for 500 (non-crit) after PRR on a toon with 100-150 PRR and champs are hitting for twice that (non-crit) (and they can bypass enough fort to get crits on toons with 130-160% fort), only tanks and the traditional self healers (divines, pale masters, and robot casters) can stand up to more than two hits. And the cool down on cocoon isn't short enough.
C should be changed to MOAR tactics. Stop aggro-ing more mobs than necessary. Actually use some crowd control. Concentrate damage on the same mob to eliminate them more quickly. Maybe talk to your party members about how to approach a fight. Novel concepts, all of them. This is actually what we did in the GoP run. 80% of the deaths came in the before the brothers died. After that we stopped trying to steamroll it and started to actually play with focus.
D Honestly, Necro IV is the content least necessary to run on EE, unless you want the mythic versions of gear or 1 time for favor/bravery bonus. I suspect folks with either only run it once per life or just pause their streak and EH it.
E - Can't argue with that.
