And why the fuck in DDO every other tard thinks that everyone should be mandatory to listen to their shit talk? Listening to the crickets during the nights is more entertaining and has a greater intellectual value.
Actually, often it seems these people who can't listen also constantly ask questions in chat like: "what's next?", "how do I get to the quest?", "where did you guys go", "hey, do you guys want to run (quest x)?", "please give me a long explanation of how you do (x)", etc.
If people don't ask questions during easy content and know what you are doing, I can tolerate it, but where communication helps, it is annoying. I bought my headset for a reason. I am not going to stop going forward and killing mobs so I can type to some idiot who is too self centered to turn on the capability to listen to others in an mmo.
Now if they have a sound issue with their pc or headphones, or have speakers and someone is sleeping nearby and explain that, I'll go out of my way to type. But if they are just douches, I'm not going to be an enabler of their selfishness.
