10,000 hp kobold is a CR .25?

Ran tempest spine tonight and right wen I stepped in I saw a kobold with 10k hp listed as a CR .25 where the fire elemental so we're CR 14and had 700 hp. Wtf.

They're the test kobolds the devs use for testing.
You even get little mini ones in new content when they publish it unfinished.

Either some dev has been playing with Tempest or they've done an accidental monster sub. No surprise either way.

step in, check for kobold, recall reset repeat.  it spawns a lot because broken.

I bet it is broken/incomplete code that has seeped from their internal builds into live in regards to Epic Tempest Spine. Just a guess. I know little of coding and games.

Yeah, the epic version will be the same as the Heroic, but with an insight bonus to a random stat and +2 retard bonus to either will, fort or reflex saves.  Only one though, as all three would be too powerful......
