Racist bullshit is actually worse when it pretends the sentiment is as trivial as a word choice. Fucking cowardice, Imo. You're ignorant enough to believe it, though. Maybe you think everyone else is just as superficial, and changing the words, to you, is changing the substance.

This is the fuckwitted statement. A competent moderator closes threads before they become problems. Jerry is an incompetent moderator, but not because he closed this thread before it became a problem. His incompetence is multifaceted, but in this instance it's displayed in the fact that he took the opportunity to spout his ignorant opinion as the last word in a closed thread. You are a fuckwit, because you're criticizing the competent thing Jerry did, and giving the incompetent thing a pass.

It would be a competent thing if he would be actually consistent. If he choose one thread of many just because, leaving out others like nazi kobolds and so on, there is nothing competent about it.

Sadly, his math is wrong.. by a lot :x

Quote:
Calculations.
Now:
MS = 20 sec * 4 arrows/sec = 80
10k = 60 sec * 2.75 arrows/sec = 165
Nothing = 25 sec * 1 arrow/sec + 15 sec * 1.29 arrows/sec = 44
Total 289

Proposed (using Tensors for full bab, which is annoying so kindly change that to char level):
MS = 20 * 2.41 = 48
10k = 60 * 1.89 = 113
Nothing = 40 * 1.29 = 52
Total 213

Not sure where hes getting 2.41 arrows at? BaB of 20, at 28 without tensers, puts this at a 96% doubleshot, 1.96 arrows per pull of the trigger, not 2.41 (though that doesnt exactly favor this equation just yet) But strictly speaking of JUST manyshot, no outside factors, it would be 1.96.

10k would be Monk Level * 5. not sure how the split goes here tbh.. anyone? even at pure 20 monk elf it would be 100% doubleshot, so 2 arrows max per pull. So we get this for MS, cant really do 10k maths yet:

1.96*20 seconds= 39.2 arrows per manyshot burst.

Before it was just 80 arrows flat for the 20 seconds, multiplied by the dmg of the bow, lets go with an obscene amount - 1000 dmg per arrow base. that would be 80000 dmg in 20 seconds.

Now its 39 arrows in 20 seconds, still the same dmg so 39000, however we also have 1.96 Ranged Power to factor in ((100+96)/100) which gives us 76440 dmg in those 20 seconds. Is this a DPS decrease, yes. Is this OMG 50% dps decrease? not even close..  its a 4.5% dps decrease.

Assuming we use tensors - 39000*2.12= 82,680 dmg.. what, we do more dmg than pre "nerf" Shocked

"nigger

See definition in Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary

Line breaks: nig¦ger

Pronunciation: /ˈnɪɡə/

Definition of nigger in English: noun

--exceedingly offensive--

A contemptuous term for a black or dark-skinned person.
Usage

The word nigger has been used as a strongly negative term of contempt for a black person since at least the 18th century. Today it remains one of the most racially offensive words in the language. Also referred to as ‘the n-word,’ nigger is sometimes used by black people in reference to other black people in a neutral manner (in somewhat the same way that queer has been adopted by some gay and lesbian people as a term of self-reference, acceptable only when used by those within the community).

No, Nigger is what we call pieces of shit like you who are not productive members of society (Omg.. did i just say productive member of society.. kill me)

I know more white niggers than black. There are quite a few black men who go out, get an education, and make something of there lives. The niggers turn to the streets, because life was too hard.

Not his math:
Quote:
As a halfling 12 monk / 6 ranger / 2 paladin using AA tier 5 I can get a maximum of 29% doubleshot. (2% ship, 9% epl, 10% epic feat and 8% quiver). With that and high wisdom I am looking at 25% fewer arrows over the course of the full 2 minute cycle.

I am very much not ignoring doubleshot - I cannot possibly get more with this build - yet I am 26% behind for on-hit and vorpal effects. Is that what you consider slightly or what kind of percentage reduction did you have in mind when you wrote "slightly"?

Calculations.

Now:
MS = 20 sec * 4 arrows/sec = 80
10k = 60 sec * 2.75 arrows/sec = 165
Nothing = 25 sec * 1 arrow/sec + 15 sec * 1.29 arrows/sec = 44

Total 213

A reduction from 289 to 213 is a reduction of 26.3% arrows. Kindly elaborate on "slightly".
He has a current 29% doubleshot and MS now adds BAB x 4 to doubleshot, so with tensor's he gets 28 x 4 added to doubleshot for a total of 112 more doubleshot. 112 + 29 current is 141 for the duration. And that means 1.41 more arrows for a total of 2.41 arrows.

But, to calculate the changes with MS, and ONLY MS.. one must use the data FROM MS. So using 2.41 is invalid, while 1.96 is valid. Though even still, the math is totally off at 2.41.. XD

(28*4)+29= 141 + 100 base = 2.41 arrows and 112 ranged power.
2.41*20 seconds= 48.2 arrows per manyshot burst.

80 previously, still has 80,000 dmg at 1k dmg per arrow

48 currently, brings the dmg from 39k to 48k

however we Still need to calculate the 2.12  Ranged Power , ((100+112)/100) which gives us 101760 dmg in those 20 seconds while using tensors at least. which is an increase of dmg by 21.4%

(24*4)+29= 125 + 100 base = 2.25 arrows and 96 ranged power
Without tensors we have: 2.25 arrows * 20 seconds = 45 arrows * 1k * 1.96RP = 88200.. So, uh.. still doing more dmg, no?

80 arrows @ 1k each pre-Manyshot change
45 arrows @ 1960 Without Tensors after the change
48 arrows @ 2120 With Tensors after the change.

Not sure where you are going with this as previously MS allowed NO doubleshot so you would fire 4 arrows whereas now you would only fire 2.41ish. He is purely referring to the number of arrows not the damage of said arrows. Unless you are saying it should be compared as 3 extra arrows then vs 1.41 extra now.

MS allowed 4 arrows per shot without any Doubleshot at BaB 16+

4 arrows Multiplied by 20 seconds = 80 arrows in that 20 seconds ~see the 80 arrow line. We are using 1k dmg per arrow, just for funs~

Now MS allows DS, and also provides DS. See lines 45 and 48.

The problem with STRICTLY comparing the arrows, is a flawed comparison. Before the arrows did exactly the damage they did, without any doubleshotting (though were still affected by any RP you currently had. I went with a 0 base RP, though any addition to oldstyle RP, would also increase the now RP so the new manyshot is still more DPS than the old one at 24 BAB or higher)

Before they shot 80 in that 20 seconds, now they shoot 45 (non-tensored). Sure, if you stop the comparison between old and new there, there is a "decrease" in dps. However you need to also factor in the 96% dmg increase due to the ranged power on those 45 arrows, which really makes it as if you are shooting 88 arrows, not 45.

~Edit~ Using his math:
Calculations.

Now:
MS = 20 sec * 4 arrows/sec = 80
10k = 60 sec * 2.75 arrows/sec = 165
Nothing = 25 sec * 1 arrow/sec + 15 sec * 1.29 arrows/sec = 44
Total 289

Proposed (using Tensors for full bab, which is annoying so kindly change that to char level):
MS = 20 * 2.41 = 48 * 112% (Range power boost) = 101.76
10k = 60 * 1.89 = 113 * 50% (Range power boost, assuming 50 Wis) 169.5 / 60 wis = 180.8 / 70 wis = 192.1
Nothing = 40 * 1.29 = 52
Total 213 ============= 50wis- 323.26 / 60 wis- 334.56 / 70 wis- 345.86

Previously 289 arrow in 105 seconds compared to 213 in 120 seconds. However, as previously mentioned, we must increase the 213 arrows to also reflect the RP boost they are getting(can only adjust MS as the 10k is affected by wisdom, though i can assuming an 50 wis?), making them hit 96% harder.

We then get 289/105s arrows compared to 323/120s (Went with 50 wis, which should be easy to obtain)

2.752380952380952 arrows per second with the old styled MS/10k/nothing

2.691666666666667 arrows per second with the new system, assuming 50 wis. 60 wis would be 2.783333333333333 arrows per second, 70 wis would be 2.875
