Think of all damage done as a binary equation with two sides: left and right, separated by a myriad of colours. On the right side, you have unmodifiable damage types (elemental, poison, bleeding, being a faggot called Something-enmo) etc; these are valuable to the extent that you should attain them with NO INVESTMENT ON YOUR PART. You get as much of these as you can without spending enhancement points, feats, skill points, etc; take what you can but pour not a pound, eh ole chap?
Right, then. That leaves the willing with the left hand of the equation; where base damage lives. This is the damage that IS modifiable by crits, adrenaline, damage boosts, etc. Any of you forsaken, pathetic, glory-hole frequenting, Yardie-blowing, lost-a-proper-girl-willingly-by-way-of-cuckold homo's want to guess what other damage type lives on THAT particular side of the equation?

base dmg * RP : 1.7(50)+1.7(91) - 85-154 dmg per bolt minimum
SA dmg * Rp : 1.7(19)+1.7(114) - 32-194 dmg per bolt
117-348 dmg per bolt, 232 average dmg * 3 volley = 697.5.
Assuming you are a real mech, you have at least 60% doubleshot/3 = 20% per bolt (232*1.2)*3 = 835.2 dmg per volley on average.
thats just the low end of the spectrum, i know Ultra was doing 400+ per bolt pre-mech change/ranged power. So i know damn well a volley could hit 2k easy. ^-^
