OK, I lost this round and the prophets of impending DOOM won. I really thought there was a chance to lure one of the “my world is gonna end if you nerf my beloved toon”-boys into deleting. What I didn’t consider was how easily Sev will bend to the whiners, that he has literally no balls and that there never was a real plan for the pass whatsoever.

Some posters here were sensitive about the “stable full of mediocre toons” thing. Listen: For stupid one-trick-ponies like dumb_stat everything looks like a nail because all they have in their toolbox is one (odd shaped) hammer. Those “I play only XYZ” types of people would still wait for their first EE Mod completion if it wasn’t for some players that rolled an alt with a good FtS DC.  DDO is all about the “rock, paper, scissors” thing.

Funny thing is, I really tried to be as hyperbolical as possible, but it still reads kind of reasonable because Turbine IS a lying, thieving bunch without a clue of their own game. Guess that’s why hardly anyone made their sarcasm check. In the end I am not even sure whether quitting and deleting would have been bad advice actually. Well, back to finding exploitable game mechanics….

So Legion is still around, hu? You bunch really are the toughest men r(a)iding the toddler bike that DDO has become. Besides – I don’t take advice on how to fuck from people that are proud of completing “first”.

You are disappoint.

No plan whatsoever beyond "getting individual unconnected and unrelated pet projects live in the next update" is Turbine's foundation.

You haven't really been playing DDO if this surprises you.

they will probably congratulate themselves on how long they "kept it going" never able to see that it could have easily managed to keep itself going for far longer if they had just meddled far less drastically and with some semblance of an actual gameplan.

Hearing something has "merit" but we don't have "time" kind of says everything about how Turbine works on things.

everyone but turbine knows that we are sad they are destroying our game

I don't make the game, I just get tested what they build. Sorry you are not happy.

DDO is easy to summarize - the greatest game to suck the most ass.

Turbine - So incompetent that we are skeptical when they report their own incompetence.

Other companies will settle for shitting out garbage, Turdbin actually prefers to. Especially if they can get us to buy it, that just cracks them up.

Breaking something and putting it back together isn't as good as not breaking it to begin with, it's not even close.

Devs do not care what players want - they already have an agenda and give out token gestures so the paladins can feel worthy.

The DDO devs aren't motivated by a positive user experience.
