Oh, c'mon: I'm working the dev team over so hard they say ridiculous things, posting them here for all to share a good laugh, and oyu want me gone? Srslyfgt?
You're not working them over. Sorry.
You're just irritating the crap out of them and everyone else.
They're not PR trained and they will not think before writing/speaking and will make slip ups. But so what?
You're effectively painting them into a corner from which they will be spiteful to the players detriment. So you're not helping your cause at all.
You could take a different approach.
If you feel so passionately about these changes, you could:
1. Stop presuming you're right and they're wrong, even if you believe that - it destroys any chance at open comms from the get-go. They have the power to make change and you don't, so this approach will immediately curtail comms and you lose. if you're interested in more than cheap laughs (which you are because you haven't stopped whining about it), then you should consider changing your approach.
2. Engage them in a conversation that is non-threatening. Find out why they want to change it, and debate the points if you can. Chances are you can't now as your attacks have made them clam up. They're not doing work and making changes that annoy players for the fun of it - they obviously see a reason to make the changes. some of those reasons are likely wrong - that is your attack vector.
3. Varg alludes to the problem - his participation in DDOChat is optional. He likely does it because the fluffers pump up his ego, but if you spoil it, then there is no comms. No comms mean no engagement. We get what we get, when we get it. You fuck it up for everyone.
4. The conversation should not be about "winning" via a cheap laugh, embarrassing the dev or getting your way. It is an opportunity to sow the seed of doubt about the change and let them decide on the side of the way you want. Alienating them almost guarantees they will do something to spite you. No-one responds well to antagonism.
I'm not a fan of Turdbine or the Dev team, but I just see your approach as entirely unhelpful to those who are trying to influence change in the right direction.
Flav - pls don't openly associate KingNigNog/Amsterdamaged with the Vault in DDO Chat. in the minds of the holier-than-thows, it just further taints us unnecessarily, when hardly anyone here shares his views or demeaning approach.
