well I prefer the new 'menu' thingie over the old one, but not being able to have items in a one liner ( thus restricting to 3 items/page ) is gay and retarded.
I want my one liner item lists bacik.
ITEM XX Price YY add ot cart and Quick Buy on a single line.

Well, it's certainly going to take more than a 30 character coupon code for a free potion of bear's endurance to entice me to check it out. WTF were they thinking?
Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

It's a travesty in look and function. The average of 100 opening is that it takes 5 seconds to screen fill and when I purchased I had to log out and back in to get the items.

If I had to rate on a scale of 1 to 10 how much the old store affected my enjoyment of the game with 10 being "A big fucking deal" and 1 being "I don't give a fuck", I wouldn't even care enough to answer the question. That's how little the store matters to me or affects my game play experience.
I can't believe they wasted time with it, honestly. The old one was functional. It might not have been the best UI, but who cares? It mattered to me about as much as the news feed that shows up in launcher. And the new store is pretty much the same thing. I don't really give a fuck about it. I'm a VIP sub so I don't need to go in there for much. Maybe the occasional LR heart.

It does seem to be quite the pet project with little roi in terms of quality of life fixes. Maybe they just wanted to keep someone employed for a time period?

It's a turd with glitter on it.
It loads slowly. Reloads completely every time you open it. Purchasing multiple items on the same page - like bank space - is a chore in futility. And when you finally buy something you have to relog to get it.
I can only imagine that they hired an outside consulting firm with the sole purpose of designing the worst customer experience possible. A single picture of a hand giving you the finger with a button to send them money below it would be an improvement.

I believe they "fixed" it due to its "features" abilities.

I really like it, because it's faster and more intuitive.
The old site looked pretty great as well but it could be so clunky.
I heard most of the delay problems are firewall issues on the user's end, so it will be great once people get their settings sorted.

Yeah, I can see how having to relog every single time you buy something would be the players fault. So sorry Turbine, I didn't realize that I've been the one fucking up your game this whole time.

You're funny.
I'll get right on "that firewall thing" to sort out the new store.
I'm sure it's as simple as getting a new EDO pipeline boost cache module so I can install pfSense in my motherboard.

It had nothing to do with player experience.

Turdbin is handling the HoWs like professionals.
Professional trolls.
I have to admire the offhanded "fuck you" to f2p players, who might not have a shared bank, and are forced to take both free hearts on the same toon.
Making it a coupon with a short expry. date covers the "fuck you" to casual players, and to anyone on 2 week or more vacation, who might otherwise miss out on the first "fuck you".

And apparently for anyone not based in the US currency charges are now applied when buying points. Nice touch.

The currency charges may back fire because people will hold back even more on buying TP. I see as many players online at EU times as I see at US times. My guess is that more than half of the DDO players are not from the US.

Nice of Turbine to tell us about before a bunch of people paid for TP. Good guy, Turbine.

I can see you spending a lot of time buying from the DDO store - especially those CMW pots when they're on special?

Definitely this.
New seemingly random generated codes, no "shopping cart", reloading the entire database from the server every time you close/open... all annoying and more incentive to not use the thing.

So, do we know if Mattyboy handed his Vault credentials over to Cordo, if Cordo ear fucked him and planted a larva that's eating his brain and making him post at Cordo's bidding, or if he's just trolling?
I would have guessed trolling, but I thought I remembered Matty as better at trolling. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic because we have so many outstanding trolls at the moment? Or maybe the Store isn't as inspiring as some of his previous targets?
EDIT:Upon further reflection, I've changed my mind, the "once users get their settings sorted" really is pretty funny, I just didn't appreciate it at first. Cary on.
