Which one would come out more effective ?

Quick summary :

Kotc gets you...

- 3d6 light damage from cores (scales with 100% mp)
- Divine might
- Exalted cleave
- Divine sacrifice
- Exalted smite
- Empowered smite

Deepwood gets you...

- 3d6 sneack (scales with 150% mp)
- 3 dmg vs favored enemy
- 20% ds from killer
- 20 positive spellpower
- 3 dmg for 6 sec after damaging enemies below 50% hp

Build wise, i am playing a 15 pali / 5 ranger splash.

Note, that i am not able to get both ap wise.

Are you strength or dex based for damage?  Divine Might is not helpful on a dex for damage toon.

Strength based using khopesh.

Was thinking about a setup like this perhaps...

Human (1 Ap) : Racial boost.

Tempest (40 Ap) : All tier 5 abilities except evasive dance.

Kotc (23 Ap) : Core abilities(3d6 light) + Divine sacrifice + Exalted smite + Cleave + divine might + empowered smite.

Sacred defender (6 Ap) : +25 PRR/MRR some fortification and +1 lay on hand use.

Harper Agent (9 Ap) : +3 MP and know the angels.

Deepwood Stalker (1 Ap) : +1 sneack die.

Another possibility could be...

Tempest (40 Ap) : See above.

Kotc (9 Ap) : Core abilities (1d8 light dmg), Cleave, divine might.

deepwood (23 ap) : killer (+20% ds), +30 hp, +3d6 sneack, +3 dmg to favored enemy, +20 spell power etc.

sacred defener (6 ap) : See above.

Human (2 ap) : Racial boost and +1 str from action surge.

14/6 could get you Exposing Strike from DWS, which is basically an improved form of what Improved Feint should be.  I've been playing with it on a pure ranger, and even with the few sneak dice I get from it, it's working pretty well when you stack it up with deception.

You lose Zeal, but you get ITWF free, and Manyshot as well.
