See that right there is the masterstroke of Flip's maneuver, he not only manipulated you into claiming that you knew a non-existent player. He was actually able to trick you into going even further out on that limb, you were played enough to start claiming and bragging to that very same non-existent player that it was your knowledge of him and how everyone else liked him that allowed you to 'troll' Sarlona with a survey.

And let's not forget that after Flip dropped the boom on you and exposed that the claims of a survey and Draken's very creation was all a elaborate Troll on you that you tried to insist it wasn't true and that Draken really did exist! Flip had tricked you into really believing Draken was a real player because he created several Draken toons just for you to talk to in-game. And boy did it work! just read your little claim about Draken being real right after Flip revealed the extant of his troll of you:

Even after he exposed it all you were still insisting for the next few hours that Draken was 'real' and that he was just playing along with flip because flip tricked him. It was hilarious, especially when later the next day you changed your story entirely.




So to recap, Flip got you to:

1- Claim to know a guy who didn't exist
2- Claim to know that lots of players like that guy
3- Claim credit for a troll 'survey' that never actually happened
4- repeatedly insist that Draken was real after Flip revealed his Troll to save face.
5- The point everyone misses in the "flipton manuever" that it exposed just how little you knew about Sarlona and Sarlona players, no one familiar with them would have ever fallen this easily.
