We can acept all bads in the group and watch them die, get lost, ask for guild invites and still get more xp for it.

Ty Turdbin for once you retarded piece of shit did something right.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

Love,

Agreed. This is a much better solution than attempting a server merge! Even a mediocre character can make a contribution to the group, it makes both the "strong" and "weak" characters happy to be grouping. I may even take some of my flavor gimps out for some pug fun.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

How much do you play?
A PL per day?  Seriously?

Do you play sitting on the head and have meals brought to you?

I Iconic TRed 3 times in 26 hours, got all my Morning Elf lives in finally >_<. Nothing more rewarding then maxed groups of slayers and a few WGU and VoN Raids to rack up the exp once the couple hours grind in heroics is done

Anything that actively encourages grouping is absolutely essential in any MMO, IMO... now if only turbine could keep this thing permanent. Even if you disagree with my sentiment, easy bonus exp is still pretty nice.

I'm just glad there's a "turn off party invites" setting. And I'll be glad when "friendship is magic" weekend's over.

Ok.  Maybe I should clarify.  Two different toons.  Both were already around 3.5 million.  So it's 6 million in two days total.  Which, given that you can get 200k from spies and 350k from von5 with full parties isn't all that hard.   I had a toon hit twenty that had itr'd recently.   Did spies for ebb and got 274k.  Did lords of dust and servants of shard for ebb and was at 651k do after 3 quests and 1 hour of game play.

With a 50% pot on the bonuses are sick.

80% first time + 50% bb + 20% tome + 15%  vip + 5% voice + 5% ship + 50% grouping + 50% Pot
That's 275% stacking xp.

Holy shit, and I thought I was a crusty soloist.

Even I've been grouping this weekend!

They should keep half this bonus on full-time for quests, then double it and add the raid bonus into the weekend bonus rotation.

I actually said something I didn't think I would ever say in game last night.  About to run von 3, one member said "It's time for me to log and get some sleep."

I replied "Can you at least step in and pike?"

Seriously, I must have gone through a dozen lives without grouping. This actually brought me out of my little hidey-hole.

When any Solo-ist starts pressing "o" a lot more often, you know it's working... Turdbine! MAKE IT PERMANENT! And I promise I'll call you "Turbine"* without the "d" at least once a week.

due to an over whelming and unprecedented amount of player approval we feel experience is over performing, we will be implementing a hotfix on December first to fix this problem and we ask for your patience as the dev team trys to decide how to balance future experience

Well that bonus is what they came up with to try to get people to party up because they just don't want to kill the idiot mechanisms that make soloing more worth the time/pain... namely : dungeon scaling, dungeon alert and (un)bravery retarded streak.
they should bring back the good old underlevel bonus... especially now that we have quests up to LVL 33 ( EE ) when we are LVL 28.
It was removed because people became out of quests to do by LVL 7 ( when cap was 12 ) or 9 ( when cap was 14 )...
Now they also should remove all the area level lockouts they put in place to make sure nobody was going to pull a LVL 8 in PoP for phat XP
anyway, I'm just rehashing what I've always said.

It was odd waiting for others. Even if they were just lever pullers in some cases. I like the bonus. Might need to dig out the headset again.

OTOH I love when I meet that occasional new player with potential. I've met most older players on Khyber and most of us aren't really likeable. Those newbies are good to see - walked one through a few epics the other day.

Bravery bonus is only applied for first time completion.  They already had a mechanism in game for first time completion per difficulty, that's not lost forever if you don't run it on elite the first time.

The second option doesn't discourage people from joining a quest on hard or normal.  The first option does.

Solution, increase first time elite bonus to be proportional to that of an elite streak.

Everybody wins.
