I figure I should get some fair and objective insight. I haven't been able to play the game in an enjoyable way for months now. I posted my issues in some playful holiday cheer and simply stated it wasn't worth playing or investing time or money in DDO at this time. Then it turns into the inevitable shit-show.

In appropriate response I would now also like to make *snowballing* a common reference when it comes to fanbois preferred method of issue interaction with the Grand poobah of snowballing, Cordovan.

Your post was not "fair and objective".  Why would the responses be?  I think the forum paladins and fanbois are obnoxious too, but so are the forum trolls and crybabies.

I'd say that you should try making a "fair and objective" post, but the paladins and fanbois will bash you for that too. 

I'd go with the stance from War Games:

"Strange game.  The only winning move is not to play."

This is exactly my point. I go in with what they set out as perimeters. Basically like walking into a fanboi circle jerk while wearing a nice suit. I gotta steel myself up, but once again, I will be overwhelmed with numbers and a dumbed down conversation. Thanx for the input. It's nice to see I'm not the only one that has a clear and objective perspective on this.

You went in with an antagonistic post designed to upset and elicit a strong response from the forum pallys and got that response.  But that's been done 1000 times or more.  How is that even fun at this point? 

Wait.  That last paragraph just came from a guy who just spent the weekend running GH, Orchard and Vale flagging quests for probably the 200 or 300th time.  MMO players certainly enjoy mind numbing repetition.  What am I saying?  Carry on with your quest.  You should reach Forum Completionist soon.    Grin

Yeah. I think it was more about me advising a new player against investing in DDO. She was having issues with the client and I gave her the number for customer service. I can still log into the game. The forums have nothing to do with my game account. But this is just further proof of what the thread was all about.
