	So I've ran a build that splashed 3 paladin levels to "get in to sacred defender" but never actually used the tree. Since its a splash obviously you won't be going to deep into the tree, whats in there that everyone wants?

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

	You need at least 6 AP for sacred defense, which is a stance that gets you 25 PRR/15 MRR. If you want to put in more AP, you can pick up +3 saves and 20% HP. If warlock, you might want to choose +6 CON over 20% HP (can only choose one).

	You take the first two cores. The second core gives you the stance. The stance gives +10 PRR and +10 MRR (and 50% threat gen). Then you take the first tier enhancement Improved Defense. You get to choose between Saves, PRR/MRR, and Threat gen. Choose PRR/MRR and hit 3 ranks in it. It will cost you 5 AP for all that. But, you need to spend one more AP in the tier 1's to unlock the second core, so pick something for 1 AP (I tend to grab an extra LoH, but that's me). Total spend will be 6 AP.

	DAMN. That's a good amount of PRR for 6 AP. Ok, doing that from now on!

	It has some good defensive boosts for a relatively low cost. 25prr, +3 saves, +20% hp for 13 points. Can spend a bit more and get another +3 saves from aura. When I splash paladin I tend to go for a 4 level split when possible and also grab the 10% run speed and either +6str/con. Makes it 24-25 points spent for some good boosts.

This - the 4 level splash for run speed, 20% more hit points, and +6 to either str or con is outstanding...just requires a build that can spare the points for all that.

	And extra Lay On Hands charges. I love those, and on a mech I've got so used to just using LoH that I do not twist cocoon(since I am twisting endless hands) or use devotion augment. With 150~ hamp and low 30s charisma it heals for 750~
