Yay, 20 raids over several months for a 100% chance of a single BTC item from a long list of shit I may not need.  Sounds awesome.
Do any of these Turbine devs actually play the game?

Note : this is not what is going to be implemented for Legendary Raids... This was what the Devs wanted to do and presented last year to the PC.... for all the raids.

The active 2014 PC members reaction was : Hell No! ( one of the few times we all agreed on something ) and they eventually dropped it.

I'm convinced that everything that we got asked about feedback that received a negative one and was dropped is going to be presented again and again to the PC until one PC
let it go through.

As such I'm certain that the 20th list thingie was put on the table when the 2015 PC got asked about the Legendary Raids and the Greensteel stuff, and they agreed to let it pass ( or didn't notice it. )

without raid bypasses, it would be 35 days, but thats if you dont include the time to assemble the raid, zone into the raid, complete the raid and turn in the raid

still it's over a month of dedication to raiding just for the guarantee of the 20th reward

and with the Torc and the desired ToD ring not appearing on the 20th run

or the abbot 20th not appearing at all with no compensation to the players

no just blur, and feather fall, and nightshield, and a few others. Displace and haste are 30 second scrolls and they should be longer lasting clickies. But the others are all 2 to 3 minutes. Anything that long should never waste a gear slot, ideally.

Meh, some of us are lazy and don't want to mess with recasting another buff. Let me have my lazy please.

Yep.  And that works great for all classes to invest in cross class umd, even Barbs who have to drop rage for it to work.  It shouldn't be the only thing on the item, to be sure.  But as one of a group of items, it is fine.  Of course things like FF come in augments.  I'd argue that smaller effects like blur and nightshield might be better as yellow augments.  But that's different than saying "they should never be on gear because you can scroll them".  It was a clueless comment from a guy who doesn't play the game except when his guildies call him out for it.

I think Q's complaint is valid even if he isn't smart enough to articulately state the problem. Blur is not only available as scrolls, clickies, etc. but also as a perma enchantment on multiple easy to get items starting at ML 3:

http://itemwiki.cubicleninja.com/Items/ItemDetails.aspx?itemID=1539

Also, we're talking about endgame raid gear here. Lesser displacement is already a thing and is strictly better than Blurry. Endgame raid gear should really at least use the best available enchantments if not make up a new one. They could make a 30 or 40% item without breaking anything. EE design already assumes 50% from a proper Displacement anyway.

And what's with the Old Deathblock on the Robe? Arcane Casters don't get Deathward and Divines won't wear a Robe.

Dear Devs,

I'm disappointed that you didn't design this item to reduce my gimp PM's already extremely limited healing by a significant percentage. HALP PLZ. kthxby

Yup, I know.  I was commenting on the devs idea of a good system.
