	Okay, I will continue to group only rarely, and only with people I know, except for once every three months or whenever the hell they run the bonus.

	A game with infinitely replayability thanks to the massive TR cycle "can't absorb that much extra XP" yep. That's reasonable. Motherfucker. The Buddy bonus was the best thing to happen to DDO. I had NEVER seen so many LFMs up.

	Also, speaking as a largely solo player, I'd be totally cool with getting "penalized" for not being in a group, seeing as how I mainly solo BECAUSE THERE ARE NO GROUPS.

	yeah it has been his 'standard answer' to any change that actually went back to really encouraging grouping, like bringing back underlevel bonus... Le Sigh

	I feel like buddy bonus was just the most ideal middle ground. The game has so much diversity now that you don't need a dedicated healer or a "balanced group" really any old hodgepodge of characters can get through a dungeon - which is exactly what you want to see in a game. I recall playing WoW many years ago when it was very stringly tank/healer/DPS oriented and several character classes being basically left out in the cold. If you weren't a specific class with a specific spec you might get to tag along. And this was in a game with no soloing. What DDO NEEDS is to encourage grouping without breaking soloing. The Buddy Bonus did this amazingly well.

	I was on most of last night. There was an average of 2-3 lfms up during the 6 hrs i was on. At one point.. there was 0 for a good while. Well ither than the 6 ghost lfms the cant fix. And whats up with them not fixing the lfm panel. You have to look on the who list to see whos in a lfm still.. wtf? How long has this been broken? Seems like a year to me. Prolly not a complete year but its gotta be close.

I think the population boom was due to the newness of the game as opposed to player's desire for such a play-style. I recall when DDO was first being advertised, watching people get excited and seeing WoW players desert in droves for it. Some gamers I think jsut move from game to game. A new MMO comes out, they play for a few years, they get tired of it, they move on. This is why new games get huge spikes in server population, then slowly die off.

	Sev only wants people to group once every 2 months. OK. I'll keep not playing DDO. Buddy bonus should be +3% per player, for +15% with full group, with additional +1% for party leader for each additional member so leader gets 5% more than members. It's a small bonus, as much as ransack, and it provides an incentive for people to play together and lead groups.

	Fuck that, that's terrible. You'll end up with 1,000 identicle LFMs as everyone "Wants to be the leader" for that extra 5%, fuck that noise so hard. When was the last time you were in a group where the guy with the star did fuck-anything besides hit "Accept" on incoming join requests? That's not worth giving him more XP than anyone else. Fuck that.

Yeah I think way too many people will want to be quest leader for Xp and this will make too many sparsely populated LFMs. Tho there really are a lot of people who don't want the star so maybe not.
