	Every time I think of a gnome I think of the useless illusionist-thief from Balder's Gate 2 or that ridiculous bard from Neverwinter Nights 1. I guess they're part of the core races, but DAMN. Also, they'd probably sell a lot more Shifters than gnomes. Of course, all of this is predicated on them un-gimping the Racial trees, which I can see happening never, even though it's hurting sales for all the p2p races except Bladeforged.

I think you mean nwn 2, but either way the dev team have long been a lore unto themselves as far as listening to the playerbase goes. I have literally no idea why you think they'd put shifter in when it'd take so much some any work, and the only future I'd see for that is a halfassed enhancement line for druids when they get around to doing the pass. Don't even get me started on "All wizards must be necromancers" 2013 called, there's some guy spamming chain missiles in shiradi who wants a word.

Gnomes and halflings might be core races, but they aren't very heroic to me. Not interested. I'd prefer Shifters, Tiefllings, Dragonborn, or Kalashtar. Kalashtar have a problem because they would theoretically need to introduce psionics. Which would be a major system addition. Tieflings would seem to be more of an FR thing than Eberron.
