Can confirm.

(Keep in mind you need a base 410 damage (so before melee power) to just break even with sonic at 300 spell power.)

Because Melee Power only affects base damage and functions as described?  Cheesy

I wish they'd fix that sword, but it's just another line in a long list of broken ideas.

All they needed to do is make a “Blazing weapon” enchantment and have one of it's side effects be “Ignores Damage Type effects”  If it had been applied to some of the other CitW weapons, it would have made them more useful.  (ex. Make Tinah all cold damage or Agony all bane damage.)

He he he, it thinks I'm going to engage with it, and it ends up talking to itself after running over to post on a thread just because I did. Sure want's my attention. It's kinda sad isn't it?  somebody needs to tell it I only do so when I feel like have something fun in mind. I guess we should all stand-by for a flurry of more stalking.  Wink

Apologies in advance for all the addiotional post P4P is bound to make folks, I can't help it, P4P tends to follow me around like puppy yappin to be picked up ever since we trolled him into blowing Draken.

Cheers!

I also vote for Scion of Arborea.  I've run with many players who have Limbo, and the confetti is always amusing to me. Sure, they get better effects when and if they get better effects, but the random nature of those buffs and the confetti make Limbo a crap shoot.

And with Limbo, the chaos effect is self damaging every time you do something.  Wasn't expecting that and the description isn't clear.
Not sure if that is WAI.  Is that meant to be the downside to compensate for all the upside?

Dreamscape seems even worse to me, it kills dps and goes unused because of the hassle of the 5 seconds and the buffs are mediocre at best.

Yeah, but it would really suck if those 5 seconds got shortened to less than 3....

Has anyone played with Limbo much? I've not been on Lam since these feats so curious how nice it is during the good buffs uptimes. I know it won't be optimal compared to others but I don't need optimal for my current play habits. Any experiences to relay from Lama, anyone?

The first time I got to 30, I took Limbo specifically because of the confetti. If I could have selected a feat that gave me confetti 100% of the time, I would have! (Now that I've reached 30 a few more times, I'm trying out different ones just to see what I think of them.)

Im not sold on scion of ethereal.

Remember, there is no build that gets sneak attack 100% of the time. I know you can get very close, but its never 100%. This becomes more true when you face mobs that are immune or have very high fort.

Although honestly, I find the defensive benefits superior on Scion of Air to both of the above choices. And Lightning hits most mobs.

Only thing that really comes close is a DWS capstone, and even in that case you  are constantly having to rotate sniper shot and head shot, which while it doesn't sound so bad can get old really quick because if you mess up the pace you will kiss good-bye to SA for 5-6 precious seconds. It surprisingly becomes quite a bit of a burden in regard to your attention, much easier to just use one of my Mechs.

I tend to only use it with the toon I run with groups, my solo toons use the others and skip ethereal.
