"burst" weapons

im working on a build utilizing the "burst" effects that deal more damage based off of the crit multiplier of the weapon and i know about the elemental and alignment burst effects but i feel like there is at least one other effect that scales with crit multiplier and i cant remember what it is.

i know of
icy burst
acid burst
Shocking burst
flaming burst
holy burst
unholy burst
axiomatic burst
anarchic burst
Force burst
unholy burst

there is slow burst too but it doesn't scale with the crit multiplier. what other effects scale with crit multiplier?

Normally yes. But in fact I don't care. So, no.

Is regular old "seeker" still a thing? I haven't really played for awhile, so it might be gone at this point, but that's one effect that jumped to my mind.

How about names that contain the attribute modified, so you could search for what you want to improve on the auction house and find the items that improve it? How cool would that be.

If they fixed the Auction House so you could search for things like what attribute it modified, what color slots it had, and what special characteristics it had then they could add cutsie names later, but just coming up with new names by flipping through a thesaurus (without actually knowing what the words mean, obviously) is just plain stupid.

Oh well, at least it keeps people like SeverancePay out of fields that matter like healthcare or quality control.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

It is, and since it adds its damage before the multiplier it is a scaling effect.  And better, it improves the odds of confirming the critical.  New lootgen can have good amounts of Seeker and Insightful Seeker, and as much as +14 and +5 Insight from named items.

Smart people don't elicit "side effects."  They understand in advance the consequences of their actions.

On suns your forgot the whole line:

-of the sun
-of the sun's fury
-of a thousand suns

Still have a whole bag of sun and sun's fury items. Sadly, never did find a thousand suns item that was any good Sad

Excellent point.

On the AH, we already know they don't have anybody who understands databases. Making something searchable is a fucking alien concept to them. So it's already a miracle the AH can be mildly sifted.
