Any quest you can't zerg, or this case raid(s) off the top of my head.

I'm seeing a lot of quests you
(I) can solo or zerg(and usually do), boring. Not even on the list............

My list of Name Your Favourite DDO Raids(In no specific order).

1. Abbot(heroic). Need a 1/2 full raid group to complete without beating the Abbot down more than once or using cheese. It generally doesn't happen at level.

2. VON 5(heroic). Need at least 4 people to co-ordinate for completion(generally at level). VON 6 is part of this equation, still needing some teamwork to complete.

3 Tempest Spine(heroic). Old school raid that has been around forever. A full raid pug carrying the 2 or 3 guys who get lost, dying and retrieving stones(if they don't res and drop group) is always a sense of accomplishment at level.

4. Titan(pre raid). Need 3 unless I don't know better(not including pets). Takes time to do. The 2nd part takes co-ordination, always a chance to fail.

5. Shroud(heroic). Was endgame for so long during the vast and mysterious period of DDO. Loved doing multiple 10-15 minute runs on a weekend back in the day. Ingredient grindfests because there was nothing better to do with the more coming soon^tm period of DDO.

In the spirit of tabletop Dungeons and Dragons(TSR) I say this. I can't imagine 2 people(DM and 1 player) doing this for fun on a week end(Axer excluded of course).

Too bad Turdbine/WB let it come to this.

And CITW is shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Can't state this enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Welcome.

Turbine is a company, not your friend.

If a company you have been loyal to suddenly changes their product so that it either is worse or not even working any more then only a complete fool would continue to patronize them.

Business only understands one thing, the bottom line.

The posters above who have a delusional perception of their relationship with Turbine seem to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

Cursed Crypt.
Inferno of the Damned.
I have learned to love Mirror Darkly.
I have also learned to love The Pit
Stormcleave.
Gwylan's Stand.
Monestary of the Scorpion.

I absolutely LOATHE Ritual Sacrifice.
I also can't stand Madstone Crater.
I'd rather slam my dick in a door than ever run Deathwyrm.

the mirror part is annoying as any part of other quest where two people are acting while rest of party is watching - yep, looking at u abbot (I don't know why despite the loot people like this raid - its just one long pike quest - and nope I m not piking there, usually being the roid guy)

This is incorrect, you only need 2 people for von 5, and it is debatable if you need 3 for von 6 with the appropriate setup.

My advice, get good.

Abbott sucks because it is a few people doing most of the work while the rest of the party chills in 'roids.

Titan sucks because it is a few people working the cannon and running crystals and the rest of the party hanging on ladders and trying to stay out of the way.

Reavers Fate sucks because it is standing around waiting for the reaver to hit the orbs.  Then standing around waiting to get fly.  Then standing around waiting for one person to do the puzzle.  Sure there are a few trash mobs to entertain you occasionally and they throw you to the ceiling every now and then, but there's no challenge or risk of failure to that trash.

Deathwyrm's mirrors do kinda fit this model, but if the person who is doing it knows them, it goes pretty quickly.  The end fight, at least, requires some party participation.  I like the end fight.  If they took it from 3 levels to 2 levels (or even one level) it would be a lot better.  Or if they dropped the shadow size puzzles. so you didn't have 6 total.  Just 3.  All that would help.  I like the unique mechanic of the end fight enough, though, that I can live with the puzzles.  The lag is the real killer for me on this raid.  That's what makes it a bottom 5 raid, imo.

True.  2 people can do von 5.  But doing Von 6 with less than 3 is just making your life more difficult than it needs to be.  Is it ever an issue getting at least 3 people to do a Von5/6?

One of my faves is Rainbow in the Dark, primarily because it's the only quest that FEELS like you're actually in a cave, and (at least the first time) you have no idea what's 20' ahead of you. Tor because you're actually killing Dragons in a Dungeon, and I like What goes Up too (riding a gigantic flying glacier? Sign me up.)

ToD was my favorite raid, just ahead of Heroic Shroud. Deathwyrm isn't bad, but I liked ToD's loot system better (at least in the context of the level cap each raid was geared for).

My brain doesn't work this way. I could do a least favorite list ... except I avoided them until I forgot they exist.

So now all I've got is: I hate the fuck out of anything with scorpions, bats, or phasing mobs.

And mummies you have to keep alive yet can still target and kill. Seriously, they have like 150 hp, and you can't lose a single. Fucking. One.

Been a long time since I played that quest. Did they change it? Used to only need to keep 3 of the 4 alive.

That's been changed.  It's now, you can't lose more than 2.  Though it still reports that you can't lose any on the objectives list.

Detour                               - Gives some nice detail about who we are fighting at the beginning and throughout the quest
Haunted Halls of Eveningstar - I enjoy listening to Ed Greenwood's thoughts on his dungeon
Partycrashers                     - Optionals allow you to change the quest outcome
Prison of the Planes             - I like the variety of enemies we get to face in the rooms
Redwillow's Ruins                - Feels like an adventure, recovering stolen goods in a vast forest
Spawn of Whisperdoom        - I like how the enemy was established beforehand and we finally get to kill it
Stormcleave Outpost            - It was going to be a raid, I'm glad it isn't. I wish more quests had raid mechanics
Tear of Dhakaan                 - I enjoy running through the quest getting all of the tears for some reason, not really sure why

i imagine if you have two characters with sprint boost drop the djinn and the pillars on base 1 and 3 at the same time, sprint boost to 2nd and rape it asap it can be done easily enough. I haven't tried it though, but imagine my theory will hold up.

It was 1 and 3 from the center bridge. Needed Precise Shot to be on or else arrows would hit an invisible barrier of some sort.
