The boots, I think, are a decent item.  I could care less what they name the stuff or what the flavor descriptions are.  The gloves seem kinda odd and the armor is weak AF.  Usefulness in a build is all that matters to me. 

The Broccoli Club is a decent ooze weapon.

Lets face it this "Birthday" celebration is a big Dev Fuck you to all of us for exploiting the cards they did for last year's event. They built people's expectations and then dump this pile of crap on us.

Since they finally give us Gnomes they make both the regular race and the iconic 1295 TP just to grab what cash they can as well.

Truth be told the only good thing I saw in this update was finally the individual volume slider. Now if only they would dump their shit ass Gamespy chat client and move to something like Mumble or Teamspeak for their infrastructure we could actually be good but I guess I will take what I can get.

They put out a system, the community exploited the living hell out of it.  They aren't going to run it back out there and have it get exploited again.  That's a "fuck you"?  If they did run the card event back out there, I'd question their sanity.  And commitment to the game.  That'd be the "lazy, who gives a fuck about the economy or the longevity of the game" play, imo. 

I liked the stuff we got from cards a lot better than this new stuff but unless they want to invest the dev time to plug the holes and exploits, I'd expected them to do something different.  They should know by now that giving the player base tradeable things that go into bags is probably going to end poorly.

Sold token for 2 gold, 2 silver..  Still came out ahead.

I feel like the event in general is pitiful. "DDO here to mark its 10th anniversary by tossing out huge piles of shit at its players."

The player population was up for a brief moment yesterday, then died off and now it's creeping more and more into a slow crawl. I think they players have had enough. Legendary greensteel, the 3 shit quest packs with shit seasonal event rehashes, the horrible implementation of balancing with the random gen loot on top of the new prevailing politics within DDO has alienated many vets while paving the way for the DDO fanboi club.

The anniversary event was successful in driving away many players like myself that keep questioning "why did I come back?" Now many more will be telling themselves and others
