There's this ML14 tower shield iirc in the cannith quest. Demonic Slab. But before you make the same mistake as last time... Paladins are not proficient with tower shields. Get proficiency.

This.  Or just farm the tower shield from Reaver's Fate and Fall of Truth.  Having them equipped auto-grants the tower shield proficiency.

Use the Reaver's shield from 14 to 25 and FoT shield from 24 to 30.

Flavor, mostly. Defense over DPS. Shield Mastery with a tower shield gives a nice bit of PRR.

That, and if you're taking the 2hf feats for bastard sword, you can switch over to the specified weapons when you need to bring the smackdown.

Skyvault, elite version, is lvl 14 and quite nice if you plan to cast arcane spells, due to 0% ASF.

Why would you get towershield prof.?

Does UMD+masters touch scrolls not work anymore?

Why wouldn't you?  Quality of life.  Call it laziness or whatever you want but it's not like you're hardcore min/maxing if you're rolling a s&b paladin anyway.
